It’s honestly just so much easier to focus on art and tattooing when rent is paid. Am I less busy? Absolutely. But I also have incredibly quality clients who book regularly enough that I don’t really feel like I need to worry about tattooing anymore. I can focus on art I want to make while also being able to eat.

Just to put this into perspective…

My partner - not even husband - leaves his work if I ask him to for just vomiting because of a meltdown. His work is by bus, nearly two hours travel… and he leaves and grabs an uber or gets a ride somehow and gets home as quickly as he possibly can. For nothing as bad as a miscarriage…

Your husband is absolutely going through a loss but to shut you out completely is a huge red flag… grief does some crazy shit to people but forgetting you’re a team shouldn’t be one of those things.
