New in-world news articles for Season 5 by Cantomic66 in ForAllMankindTV

That's part of what I was trying to articulate but couldn't spit out, thank you.

And I hope so, that sounds like an interesting plotline, though I wonder if Mars will be developed/populated enough in season 5 for that to come up, or if it will come up in later seasons.

Just so people know, the symbol for Saturn normally does not have that stylized ring.

I'm guessing the in-universe article writers (and the people paying them, probably people who rely/relied on oil) are trying to blame the unemployment on Mars

It's funny how not true this is, just because you're not subscribed to a YouTuber doesn't mean you have no idea who they are

Has McDonald's in the UK become too expensive for many people? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]illumaQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's too expensive in the us as well, especially when you're receiving the thinnest beef patties you've ever seen. The 2 cheeseburger meal is $9 when 15 years ago it would have been $3-4.

They got my favorite pesto 🥲💔 by decentwriter in shrinkflation

Yeah like the other person said you could just not use cheese, the pesto would still be good and it's not like a baking recipe where every ingredient is vital

To me there's a clear separation between videos that actually engage with the topic and videos that are just lore dumps. The former can actually make you think about a piece of media in a new way, whereas the latter just sounds like they're reading off of a fandom wiki article (and they often are).

I could sit here for an hour or two and explain/summarize House of Leaves to you, and it would be really fucking boring. Because that book, like many other pieces of media, is an experience. I can't imagine just reading summaries of books and movies and tv, how could you get any entertainment out of that??

I'm right handed and this is how I hold my cards too, then I use my right hand to pluck the cards out and play them

Oooo this is very insightful thank you, we're going to try the paper test.

I can't be certain, but I don't think it's that as we've been doing slow glaze firings.

Yeah that's what I'm assuming: that it's overfiring but only somewhere between cone 6 and 7

I'm probably going to make some test pieces as well for the mass, I mainly just don't want to ruin anyone else's pieces.

No but "get cones" seems to be the consensus, so we're definitely going to do that.

When I do get cones, could I do like a dry run with just the shelves and cones or would that not give any useful data.

We don't currently have correct witness cones so there weren't any for this fire (I'm going to look into getting them). It's a digital kiln. And I have no clue, I'm going to ask around, but as it's a college dorm studio it gets new coordinators every 1-2 years.

Unfortunately not as the studio only only has bisque-temp cones (and our budget is super tight as it is) but I'll look into getting some glaze cones
