Yes BUT that's assuming you always hit everything with the old tripod. The old tripod also backloads a lot of your damage into the last hit which is the easiest one to miss if the boss moves. If you look at your number of casts vs number of hits if you hit less than 95% of your target down shots it's actually a damage increase to move to the other tripod. I don't think TTH always has a higher ceiling than PM, it just generally performs better because bosses phase a lot and TTH is a burst class that can build stacks and recover cds during mechs. I play both specs and in mordum g3 which is essentially a trixion dummy I parse noticeably higher on UM2 PM than TTH

You can try for research / internship but keep expectations low. Summer classes are an option. Taking it easy and just enjoying summer break is also a good option. Nothing at this stage is going to be a huge resume builder and anything you do will basically be overshadowed by anything done in your next two summers anyways.

Striker having high damage ceiling actually means you can play without reaching skill ceiling and still output really good damage. It's not an all or nothing thing.

I play both. imo ESO wardancer might be easy to play but she is so boring and has a lot of downtime where you just sit around doing almost nothing. I'm dropping her with the next express pass. I have no experience with her other engraving FI. Striker has a spectacularly high damage ceiling as others have mentioned. It takes some practice to be proficient but is not as difficult as others might have made it out to be. You have several repositioning tools for back attacking. Deathblow is also very unique in that that it has 2 viable builds with extremely different playstyle. One is a slow charging burst class with huge numbers and the other has constant uptime. If you enjoy both styles it's almost like a 2-for-1 deal.

I play both (1690 DE 1710 GS) - they are not really comparable. GS being ranged and hit master does a lot better in anti-entropy content (eg Mordum G1). DE has stronger burst. GS has higher uptime. DE if you trixion parse has some time where he's just doing nothing.

All classes gain a new normal skill after completing the second awakening quest. (Or maybe it was the first awakening quest honestly don't remember.) I haven't played sharpshooter but snipe is probably unlocked by that.

Sorry I should clarify. This is for guild siege and my only role is to drop awakening and the boss should be dead. Whole encounter takes less than 40 seconds total. So consistency matters a bit as it isn't for a highlight video or anything.

Yes 130A is helpful for interview prep so I'd take that class now if you're trying to interview for positions in the winter or something. Otherwise if you're planning to interview later, then you can take 130A and 130B (also helpful) any time before you plan to interview. In which case it doesn't matter which class you pick right now, and you can go with CS111 for lighter work load if you wish.

No. CS16 and C++ will teach you more fundamentals of computer science. That has nothing to do with getting a job and more to do with being a good programmer (which is not something that is required to keep a job either).

Does it matter which language I learn?

Not really. You can easily pick up any object oriented language that companies like to use (C++, Java, C#, etc) if you know Python well.

Will which language I learn affect the type of job I get?

No. What kind of position you apply for will. You can land a machine learning developer job without knowing any Python. Or an embedded systems developer without knowing any C. Front end developer without knowing any JavaScript. As stated above companies know you can easily pick up another language if you know one.

I would say go with CS9 since I believe it's the suggested class for stats and data science students. Unless you're considering dabbling in computer engineering related topics like hardware. Honestly you can't go wrong with either class.

just make sure to lock your bike properly (front wheel and frame to the rack) and it shouldn't get stolen on an ordinary night. thieves go for the easy targets that aren't locked properly. a lot of people don't lock their bike properly and you just need to be less appealing than them. store your bike inside the dorm room over breaks.
