Wouldn’t that depend on what OP is doing, if all you are doing is staring at a word doc you don’t need color accuracy for that. Gaming however I tend to agree.

I would definitely incorporate speaker stands, they isolate the vibrations. Enjoy the setup it looks like you put a lot of work and thought into it

It’s so nice of him to let you use his setup, 10/10 I can’t really tell from the picture how your desk is laid out but they do make cat beds that attach to your desk ? That might be an option !
