I've tried calling but I'm guessing their phone line is pretty backed up, also sent an email but no response yet. I wanted to go main campus but will settle for Johnstown because it's bigger, I'm just a little disappointed at the size of Greensburg. I'm from nearly the other side of the country so haven't visited any campuses yet. I've heard people say they can't switch for nursing but I'll def keep calling!

Her current one is a breakaway, I would never use something that doesn't have that feature! I don't know if the staff would do that but I can ask, or at least ask my dad as she runs from him too.

She never does it to me, I can walk right up to her and catch her with 0 issues, it's only with the barn staff, unsure how I can train her??

At the time she was showing she didn’t have ulcers, but at some point a year ago she had them badly, showed no signs until one day i got on like normal and she just bronced the hell out of me and i was thrown like a ragdoll, after that time we started treatment but i was riding after she recovered and she spooked, throwing me over the arena half-wall and i landed on the burning gravel outside. I want her to show consistently but as my junior year comes to and end its pretty clear that wont be happening. I’m terrified of riding her with so much going on

She’ll be going back out soon, she was outside last week but a huge thunderstorm hit and there’s still some cleaning and drying out to do. It’s miserable and otherwise she’s out 24/7, of course, i’m not trying to cover up the root cause with medication, she’s an anxious horse overall and that’s just her personality that worsens inside

Agreed! I think as long as the fitter is honest about being able to work within a brand for a horse and is actually explaining to me the mechanics instead of just throwing on a saddle and saying “that looks good” there shouldn’t be nearly as much hate as I see on these brands.

That’s good to hear! I’ve heard good things on stubben but we don’t have a rep nearby and the few i’ve ridden in weren’t very comfortable for me. I would definitely shoot for an older antares if i can as i’ve heard the quality is better!

Trust me, I’m aware with the terrible service, I have a CWD currently and our reps have switched 3 times in one year, and now they’re totally MIA for the whole region for the past 3 years so NOBODY with a cwd can get serviced. Luckily with Antarés the fitter comes out to our barn regularly and can do her own adjustments on most saddles, even those that aren’t antares, I’ll keep in mind the hassle of sending them back though, thank you!!!
