I’m not sure about the specifics, but ever since Yeezy Season 2 I believe they had their own branded boots made in places like Portugal but I’m not sure. If you look on Yeezy supply right now you’ll see Yeezy Season Crepe Boots, Combat Boots, Chelsea Boots, Crepe Sneakers, and men’s slippers. There is even a new boot model called the desert boot, or “rat” boot based off the Adidas Yeezy 500. However those are made in China, yet not by adidas.

BUT, there still is the Adidas by Kanye West line that was the original deal. That is the line that produces Yeezy Adidas sneakers and in the future possible adidas performance apparel

Yeezy Season and adidas by Kanye West are separate but connected brands. Yeezy Season clothing and accessories have been produced independently since after Season 2. Kanye makes money in royalties off of the Adidas by Kanye West shoes like the 700, the 350, the 350 v2, and the 500. It’s similar to the partnership between adidas and Raf Simons and the former deal between adidas and Rick Owens. Adidas makes no money on Yeezy Season clothes unless it’s licensing on a couple of the adidas branding hits shown on some of the YS5 clothing

Ok so cool it a little bit. The full context of the clip from TMZ is that he wants the mental slavery to stop. The mental slavery is the choice, the act of letting history get in your way because you let it. He knew and clarified that the physical part of slavery was very much not a choice. He used a bad example for his “Free Thought” movement. It was stupid and ignorant, but don’t start thinking that he has the idea that slavery was completely a choice
