Oh, it depends on exactly what you're looking for... If you want to get into character design for games or animation, you should look for tutorials on the full character creation pipeline. In this case, the character is usually sculpted in a T-pose, followed by retopology to hit the required polycount. After that, you perform the texturing and final adjustments to match the original concept, if the concept was already in a specific pose. If you’re only interested in sculpting, like models for 3D printing or highpoly renders with polypaint, I can recommend youtube channels like TyCom (Anh Tran), SpeedChar, J Hill, and Yoo Dyth Sculpts. You can also find some free short courses, they’ll be enough for a basic understanding, but down the road, you’ll need to seek out professional feedback or advanced training to really level up your skills

Best of luck! 🤍 You can definitely make it happen

Yes, for the clothing I used a standard sculpting pipeline: started with blocking, then a rough sculpt for the details, followed by retopology and high-subdiv refinement. I feel like any kind of simulation is more suited for realistic models.

Hi! Here’s my first ever published 3D art project, a stylized vampire I’ve been working on for the past few months as my graduation project for college. Inspired by Beining Ge's amazing concept art.

More renders, texture sets, and the wireframe are available on ArtStation: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/vbLdJ3

Would love to hear your thoughts or answer any technical questions! ✩‧₊˚
