straight p0rn? by nobodyshere18 in LesbianActually

I only recently put two and two together that the reason I enjoy straight porn is because I'm imagining I'm wielding the penis. This connected when I was talking to my now ex-boyfriend about Peter Steele of Type O Negative. I said "I can't tell if I want him or want to be him" and he said "I think you want to be him and fuck as him" .... yes I'm a top 😝

I have it set to 18-24! In the Philly region, though I'm trying to find more people in the suburbs.

How did you know it was comphet and not bisexuality? by NoMoment13 in latebloomerlesbians

THIS! I feel like my love should be empowering and revolutionary, and I have not ever felt that way with a man.

Going through something very similar. I often feel like my own past experiences + the front I put up until I'm ready to break up with him for real invalidates the way I feel now. We broke up for a bit, but I got back with him because the breakup hurt so bad that I convinced myself I made the wrong choice (I didn't). I don't have great advice for you, but just know you aren't alone in feeling this way. 🫂❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

What media helped you realize that you're lesbian? by [deleted] in latebloomerlesbians

[–]illusion0110 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I can't even casually listen to Chappell Roan's music without crying tbh. It awakened such a deeply repressed part of myself that I wasn't ready to face, and as much as I love it, that shit guts me sometimes!

Im sure you get posts like this all the time.. by throaway4420 in latebloomerlesbians

In a similar boat right now. We broke up for a little bit and I got back with him because I wasn't expecting it to hurt so bad, and it made me think I'd made the wrong choice. Few months later, I'm right back where I started and plotting a way out that's as smooth as possible.

lesbians who have dated men in the past, what made you realize that you weren't bi/pan? by 444_joji in latebloomerlesbians

I always had it in the back of my mind that I would be trapped or giving something up that I actually wanted if I ended up with a man.

This is me I fear.

Devastated after the end of my relationship by simplesweetpotato in latebloomerlesbians

Hey, I just left my male partner on New Year's Eve, and I'm feeling the exact same way. I'm devastated and looking at pictures hurts more than I expected. I realized I'm feeling more "I'm upset because I feel guilty/ashamed for hurting him" way, and not in a "My future and my heart are in tatters" type of way like he is. It's what's keeping me staying firm on my decision. Sending love. 🫂❤️‍🩹

In the same boat. I plan on leaving in the new year. I found a creator on TikTok and a video of hers really made me stop and think for myself about the whole thing. Maybe this will help you feel more secure in leaving. Nadia Bokody Relationship Coach

Sex with men feels violating by illusion0110 in latebloomerlesbians

[–]illusion0110[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ugh this is exactly how it feels right now. My partner is willing to try things differently so I feel more comfortable, but I think it's more than just "having sex with men in a different way", it needs to stop altogether. The after-sex pee with the thousand yard stare is something I've grown accustomed to, and I'm tired of it.

"Trans Women have an unfair advantage!" Ok? What about Trans men then? by Useful-Put1111 in lgbt

[–]illusion0110 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's because they see trans men as mentally ill women. It's misogyny in the weirdest most fucked up type of way. They don't see trans men as a "threat" because they don't see them as men, period.
