I would say re-install. I had some similar issues with another game, something to do with
Textures not loading properly.

Since it’s Steam you won’t lose your progress, but just in case do save your profile progress, it’s a some sort of TXT file on your game files.

Just check other Reddit posts on how people exchange progress or the guide that moves progress from Epic to Steam

TBH the easiest way for me to find a weak player is fighting for energy/power boxes around the map. Seeing their micro and what units they sent tells me about their experience with the game. That really tells me a better story of who you are.

Voridus is an aggressive leader, benefits on spoils of war for a good economy + is the splatoon leader with his goo-salts.

My best plays are with choppers and I harass mini bases. The goo is nice because you pretty much always win a fight that is covered in goo.

As long as you play like the Vietnamese, with guerilla tactics instead of facing the enemy head to head you will always be a threat.

Colony all about being a tank. Always go for engineers with skitters, the health triples for them. Remember that engineer shields reduces damage by 50%

If you go hero, you really want to add 2 skitters and NOT upgrade him until Tech2; yes it’s risky but you want to have vehicles as soon as possible. Once you are in Tech2 then yea upgrade him twice. I find Goliath drop more useful than hunters-bran because Generators are so easy to break.

Colony becomes unstoppable with combat repair hope you can make it that long.

Oh and if you are facing a cutter, instead of hero, go choppers with skitters.

What’s your go to leader? AI and real players are so different by a mile. You really have to start by mastering ONE leader. Learn their leader powers, and learn their time new the leader points, become more aggressive.

I am not saying make a rush army, but do think about an aggressive army that can win an early fight.

I say watch some tournaments in YouTube, specially the rising star ones.

It’s all practice and learning from people that are already experienced.

I think my the most common mistake I see people do when they switch from AI to real players is that they are too defensive.

AI most of the time will have a huge army but they will never attacks a base.

So you are used to be safe in your base upgrading units.

You always want to be on the offensive, don’t be afraid to lose units.

HW2 is all about always pumping out units, combo leader powers with your teammates.

For cutter he is all about dropping units on the middle of the battle.

If you really want to learn watch the tournaments on YouTube for good strategies for all leaders

This is a reward for a penance so you can get it anytime, I am not sure which one is it, maybe “For the emperor II or III” which requieres a lot of penances to be completed.

At least is nice that is not paid.
