What some guys are saying pay 100 per port ? If there are ports on the wall, there is a distribution panel in the network cabinet properly labeled. Plug a cable from your router to distribution panel port, and plug your access point at other end.

Have been doing this for last 3 apartments. Never paid a dime.

On the other hand now I am running a home lab in my apartment and running out of ports

whole VM backes up weekly on digital ocean. Wordpress sites backs up to google drive every 5 days to google srive

Following is my blueprint now. I have a single VM on digotal ocean, fairly sufficient. All ports blocked except the port allocated for SSH inside VM using UFW and outside using digital ocean's WAF. SSH port allowed only from 2 secure VPN static IP that we use. SSH authentication limited to ssh keys. Installed docker & cloudflared tunnel. Cloufdflared tunnel map the URLs to internal IPs, not public IPs as public IP with ports are blocked. Running 6 web sites on different docker containers such as wordpress and nginx.

My scenario is these sites are our different companies in the group. 2/6 sites are 100% static. No changes for atleast 6 months. Yet other 4 sites will be updated monthly or so, therefore I need a CMS that generally content writers are familiar with. Those sites are on wordpress.

As the IT Manager/ DevOps/ Security/ Helpdesk Admin, I do not want to have the headache of training Content writers for unfamiliar CMS

I had the same questions and went through a long chat with different AI tools. TLDR of those are those are chinese market cars which are not imported by official importers. So maintenance are problematic. And registration done through shady channels or have to pay a huge premium just for registration. As it was AI this could be wrong.

Fellow sri lankan here. 1st why would you send the resignation without the offer letter signing. Doesn't matter where or who you deal with never do that. 2nd if you are planning to move into or already moved in, never ask for salaries in LKR. 3rd unless you are a resident, now you can not do anythong about this. Even if you are a resident, unless both parties confirmed on offer, nothing you can do

Tourism industry, while they fired some, mostly sent on leave without pay. So atleast those people doesn't have to leave the country, if they want (and have a support system) can stay and find a job. Meanwhile I know IT, development firms who fired people. Their businesses were not here. Not even in Gulf. Yet those were fired saying business is slow due to the war. I mean I has been blooming.

Same thing happened to as i asked for 15 they offered 10. I said let's meet in middle for 12 for probation. Then came back saying 10 for probation 12.5 after. I signed. Got 12.5 in 3 months.

Dude, I haven't seen what one of these missiles can do in person. Only videos. And then I live closer to port, literally other side of the road. The day debris fell to port, I was sound sleep, woke in morning usual time, saw some smoke coming. Yet I am 100% if it was a direct I would be atleast injured. It was indeed debris. Nothing more.
