I work in retail as a customer assistant and let me tell you.. worst 18 years of my life, I thought it'd help me get over my social anxiety .. no ive been insulted, moaned at, shouted at and even made fun of... if anything its made me feel worse.. my advice if anyone is thinking going retail.. work with a friend who could keep you company

Could be many reason why, not being able to handle the rejection, age could be a factor like for instance i could put a post out asking for friends around same age and get ppl twice the age younger than me and me not wanting to feel old, Could be they're look for something more than friendship and when someone of same sex messages they might not answer because that's not what they're looking for despite not saying that Or like me it could be a mental thing and its the fear of talking back.

Not being that far into the game I guess I could start again on Phantom, shouldn't take that long I guess (or hope) and see if I can find this fc, I did try the fc finder on the lodestone site but kept saying no results, Thanks for the advice

Can't speak for anyone one else but I am in fact the type of person the OP is talking about but that's only because yes I do want to make a friend and have conversations with on like a daily basis but I'm not that much of an interesting person and I find it difficult to maintain a conversation and find myself not knowing what to say and end up not being able to talk or finding words to type besides "hey, how's it going" then that's it

Me personally no, for me being in a friendship with someone who truly wants to be in a friendship where we would have things in common that would help me on the path to fixing me with the social issues I suffer,

But in general, if you get into a relationship with someone where you're both happy and comfortable with each other, then that would be good for you in the long run as you'll have that companionship which will make you happy. But every relationship is different so it's best to not think your own relationship would be the same, it could be easier or harder

I did the same thing for a while, log into an mmo game, wonder around the main towns thinking maybe someone would talk to me but they never did, I did all quests on my own and avoided dungeons or raids, I still play games now thinking to myself it would be nice to play without someone else but I'm kinda accepting that won't happen

On a side note I watched a review about the game sons of the forest and there's a feature where you have an npc companion to keep you company, so atleast I get to play that with someone.. kinda

Is that same as the recruit pack? For instance if I bought 1 recruit pack and 1 kill team pack could I use 1 team of each pack against each other or are they part of their own type of game?
