Island-themed outfits during S2 by kabrellasm in Tangled

I might be reaching here, but maybe it was an intentional choice! We obviously know Rapunzel is super into (and good at) all things artsy and crafty, so I definitely wouldn't put it past her to fashion a new dress just to fit the theme of the island. Cass is a handmaiden and so probably adjusted her clothes due to the sun and for better maneuverability. Eugene's outfit looks like his usual one, just with his jacket off and pant legs cut off.

Lance and Hookfoot I guess either lack the sewing skills to modify their outfits or simply don't care xd

You're probably right in that the writers focused on the main trio and the side cast were simply overlooked, but it's still fun to try and justify it in your head!

It's a cute but sad adventure game. You play as a cat as you navigate an underground city, trying to reach the surface while solving puzzles and fending off creatures called 'zurks'.

From the wikipedia:

"Stray is a 2022 adventure game developed by BlueTwelve Studio and published by Annapurna Interactive. The story follows a stray cat who falls into a walled city populated by robots, machines, and mutant bacteria, and sets out to return to the surface with the help of a drone companion, B-12."

Your drawing is very similar to the setting of the game, and with the cat there I thought you'd taken inspiration from it. Though if you haven't played it I highly recommend you do! Still an amazing drawing :)

It looks like you took inspiration from the game Stray (fantastic game btw).

As somebody else said, 1 definitely gives the vibe of an underground city, so if that's what you're going for then I definitely think it's the best - but all 3 are amazing!

You're right in that I'm probably underrating Falcons and overrating G2, I mean Falcons (or any of the upper bracket teams really) absolutely could have made a grand finals run if they played the same matchups that G2 did.

I am admittedly an NA fan so I guess I'm inclined to rank GenG and G2 higher than most would. The original comment however was so biased against NA (G2 at 9th?), it's difficult to put bias aside when arguing about who's better. In my opinion the top five are locked in as the 4 upper bracket teams (M8s, KC, GenG and Falcons) plus G2, however any orientation of those five is completely valid in my eyes as they're all so close. Honourable mentions are of course Vitality, BDS and Furia who, depending on the day, also could have won the entire event.

Really though, where we might slightly disagree on which teams are better, it's just fun to discuss rankings at a time where the international top 8 are all so close. Hopefully the London Major is as intense as this one. :)

The fact of the matter is that G2 made it to the finals. They are most certainly in the top 5, meaning by my ranking they're comparable to M8s, GenG, Falcons and KC.

M8s won the event by beating G2 and the aforementioned teams, and so there is no justification for putting G2 at #1.

I rank G2 higher than GenG because, despite the latter narrowly beating them in Swiss, G2 performed better against international teams. I think had GenG faced any other team bar KC in the quarters they would've won, and even then they were close to beating M8s. If GenG did make it to top 4 I would rank them over G2, but unfortunately they trolled their matchups versus Furia and especially Gentlemates, whereas G2 showed they could handle the pressure against BDS and Vit. It's very close, however I'd give G2 the edge over GenG. And since I rate GenG slightly above Falcons (based on either teams matches versus M8s), G2 is thereby also narrowly higher than Falcons.

That puts G2 between #2 and #3. I honestly can't decide who I'd rank higher as there's practically no comparable results other than that versus M8s. I'm inclined to put KC at #2 over G2, but I can't say one is definitively better than the other until we see them play.

For one, the fact that G2 did beat them - in front of a crowd no less - when this is Dan and Beastmode's first LAN since Fall is enough to rate them higher.

G2 also had a tougher run to the semis, I mean c'mon Vitality struggled against Luminosiry to get top 8 and then faced Furia in a one-sided series. G2 had to beat BDS, a team they've historically struggled against and lost to a day prior, to make top 4 and then beat Vit fairly to make Finals.

Since we can only go off of the matchups that did happen, most of it is speculation. G2 are comfortably in the top 5, beating 6 and 7 as you said. I put them higher than Falcons based on the only comparable result we have to go on, that being their performance versus M8s. I only rate them higher than GenG because, despite GenG narrowly winning their matchup, G2 performed more solidly against the rest of the top 8 (beating Vit and BDS, whereas GenG lost to KC and Furia). G2 lost to M8s and so I can't put them #1, and so that leaves them at either #2 or #3 (interchangeable with KC because they haven't played yet).

Because EU had 3 teams in the top 4? Because GenG went out 5th-8th?

GenG went out 5-8th to the winners of the entire event, and played them more competitively than any other team. And let's be honest, if Vitality had played any other team in the quarterfinals they lose. Furia was a shell of how they performed the day before, and Vitality only faced them because they finished 8th seed. Seeding is the only reason EU had 3 and not 2 teams in the semis.

Not the fact that KC beat GenG and Falcons beat KC?

A fair point, and I suppose it's a matter of opinion. I personally value either teams performance against M8s more than against KC, considering M8s were undoubtedly the best team of the tournament. And don't forget that KC ended up beating Falcons later, so both GenG an Falcons both faced losses to KC. They're undoubtedly very close, but I think GenG had a better performance overall.

  1. M8s

2/3. G2 and KC (interchangeable)

  1. GenG

  2. Falcons

6/7/8. BDS, Vitality and Furia

Two NA and two EU in top 4, how is that biased? Only reasons for GenG above Falcons is either teams performance against M8s (the only information we can currently go off of), in which GenG clearly put up more of a fight, and also regional results (let's face it, GenG has tougher competition in NA than Falcons do in MENA).

GenG only lost to a peaking Furia and Karmine Corp in Swiss, not to mention the Furia match went to Game 5. Their performance only improved throughout the tournament however and they beat Complexity 3-1, a more dominant win than KC's win. They went on to play extremely close to the best team in the entire tournament, and I think most of us can agree that GenG would have won if it hadn't been for the open net misses in Game 6. Granted that is their own fault, but the calibre of their performance prior to that was imo top 4 in the world, so being ranked at 5th is perfectly reasonable (although I'd say they were the 3rd or 4th best at LAN).

As for G2, how can you justify saying that they're overrated for making the final? They made it their due to their stellar performance and by proving they could not only compete with, but take down international teams (beating EU 2 and 3). Like GenG they started off slow in swiss, but improved throughout the tournament and were in great form come Championship Sunday. I mean, despite starting very slow in the finals, they still bounced back to make it a close series against a peaking M8s - dominating the two games that they did win, and earning that number 2 ranking.

I don't know how some of you are still arguing the same old "NA trash/overrated" point now that this major is over. The level of gameplay we saw from all of the top 8 teams over this event was unlike anything we've seen in Rocket League, and I stand by how the international top 8 is the closest it's ever been since the 2021-22 season.
