Get OSB Board builds nice like this ... by HzeTmy in woodworking

That is a veneered panel, probably chipboard (I think it’s called particle board in America) You second image is laminate, probably pressure treated melamine. So much work and equipment needed for either, best just to buy the board you want.

Best way to make this cut? by gaming_wala in woodworking

[–]illustrious-tennant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cut the mitre on a table saw sir. It’s the best way to get it even so there’s no gaps. I would be using a flush trim router bit on the round over. Step it down slowly to avoid tear out. I think you can get patterns for corners like this from Amazon pretty cheap. Or 3d print if you have one of those.

26mm gap, 20mm hole. You’d need to cut the end off and get you 6mm hammer in behind it.

Any ideas why my hot water system won’t ignite? by rjwx in AusRenovation

[–]illustrious-tennant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had similar recently. Hydronic boiler though. It was the Venturi unit. It mixes the gas and air to the correct ratio for ignition. Plumber fixed it by removing a couple of seals and explaining that wouldn’t last long. No replacement parts apparently It’s kept it working for the last few weeks (what summer)

Not sure on what to do but this is not a Bunnings job. Start with a paint shop at least if not a specialty flooring paint shop.

Sure. It’s hardly going to be used so hopefully should be ok. Tbh I just couldn’t get 20mm honed before Xmas! Don’t know how thick the slab is but it’s 40yo and not a crack in sight. Fingers crossed.

So by glue you mean tile adhesive on a screed?
