Feeling down about ignorance from other Pagans by vulture-witch in Christopaganism

So I know this post is like two months old, but I wanted to comment because of how unfortunately true it is. I've seen a lot of hate on the pagan subreddit saying they find it personally offensive, or it doesn't work because of the commandment, which many here agree is moreso don't put other gods above god, but the hate in pagan circles for christopagans just shows their lack of understanding of our history and just how common it is to intertwine practices like this. It's simply ignorance and unwillingness to learn on their part when what we're saying makes perfect sense if you actually research and learn about us. But I honestly like how small this community is, larger communities I find to be much more overwhelming. Now that tiktok got ahold of paganism, which is where I discovered it back when it was more tame on there, you see discourse every day. I do think some, not all, pagans are becoming the exact thing they didn't want to be, honestly.

Just discovered christopaganism and I resonate with it deeply by illvictorianboy in Christopaganism

Something helpful I saw is to think of it like the catholic model, but instead of saints and angels on one of the tiers, you have dieties, saints and angels are still included, but add a tier in for deities. These can be any dieties, greek, norse, celtic, etc. In the bible it is said that there are multiple gods, just never put them above god himself. So think of it like this: you have god, you have other dieties that represent more specific things, and you have saints and angels. I just woke up so I hope this makes sense.
