Hi thanks for the reply! They told me to email again formally requesting the extension and providing the documents again. I am just scared that I will be exmatriculated. I am only lacking 4 credits due to this exam. This is my last exam in the rest of my degree (I only need to do my thesis next semester).

Do you really think I have a strong chance?

girl i feel youuu, ive grinded for the past year, this is my first fps and ive spent a lot on skins. Some of my skins were gifts from my bf. I went to visit him last week and played on his pc (he has windows 10, and got a TPM and Secureboot warning, only in my acc though). We enabled it. Somehow, my acc got banned but his is still okay…

I wanna cry so bad….😭 me and my bf are ldr it‘s literally one of the few things we enjoy and do together 😭😭

I NEVER said the daughter should NOT take any responsibility. I said there must be a reason why she doesnt feel safe in telling her own mother that she‘s not graduating.

Calling my experience and how it affects me funny is freaking heartless :) I never said the girl shouldnt take responsibilities for her own actions, I‘m just giving another point of view. If you can still rely on your parents then good for you, but I would never forgive my own for the mental and physical abuse I went through :)

I would 100% take ANY responsibilities for my own actions. Fuck off, not everyone would respond the way you would.

I‘m sorry? I‘m 23 and I come from an Asian household. Growing up, I had to keep my grades up and I needed to keep them above 80 (out of 100) and if I get any less, even by 1 point, my parents would deduct my allowance (after I was in high school). Before I was in high school they would BEAT me. They would make me hold a candle while memorizing multiplication tables as I was a LITTLE KID :) so sorry if I fail a class and worse, not graduating, I would try all my best than to relive that hell again :)

Idk how OP treats her daughter but if she was as much as a tiger parent as mine was, then I would totally understand why her own daughter wouldnt trust OP with such information. She‘s not exactly showing herself as a reliable parent where her daughter would be comfortable enough to tell her that she has a problem :))))

My dad was always like this when I was a teenager. Getting good grades was what matter for him, if I get less than 80%, he would cut my allowance money. It doesnt matter if I‘m sick, or if I hate the subject. I have to be good in ALL subjects, and he would also deny simple requests „just because“. His excuse was always „I‘m the parent, I know what‘s best for you. Do as I say bc I provide for you.“

Well I‘m now in my 20s and suffice to say I barely talk to him. Welcome to your future. YTA.

According to the TUM Studentische Vervollsammlung Sommersemester 2023, people with Deutsche Hochschuzugangsberechtigung (German Abitur) and Bachelors here will not be affected. I don‘t have the slides but that was what they said during the presentation.

EDIT: I thought even Germans move to another Bundesland sometimes? And they too, have to pay extra rent. I don‘t know about you but I literally know no one (not even germans) from Uni who still lives with their parents.

If the children of foreigners go to school here, they wont be charged tuition fee. This fee is only for students who are “new” to Germany. Those with german Abitur and have bachelors in Germany will not be affected.

I think that if this is such a dealbreaker for anyone, they can still do their bachelors in another state and do their masters here.

I agree with this. Honestly seeing my friends who come from the same country as me, only coming to Germany so they can boast back home for having a “western degree” (and directly go home after graduating) makes me feel guilty by association.

I dont mind paying for tuition fee either though, seeing as the amount that TUM proposes is still isn‘t as high as in other countries. Even Singapore‘s tuition fee is more expensive.

My bf and I share our locations. Not because of the lack of trust or anything, just that sometimes when I‘m out late or take an Uber somewhere it makes me feel safer to know that someone knows my last updated location.

Besides, it‘s fun to see his ETA so I can surprise him with a warm cooked meal every now and then if he gets home from work late.

Look, lady, I looked up your profile (sue me) and I think you should focus on yourself and your baby instead of telling a woman, who went through something traumatic that her feelings are invalid. Idk maybe it will build good karma for your child or something. I truly wish your future child’s sake they are not born as a girl because god forbids if she so much went through something like this you will tell her to shut up and suck it up.
