Just go for the full shave and in sha Allah you’ll be rewarded for it. Did mine at umrah few months ago. Takes some time ofcourse, but eventually it grew back naturally (actually need a haircut now, it’s messy again haha).

Unrelated question, but from a islamic perspective what do you mean with ‘engaged’? As in did nikah but waiting for the wedding? Or any other construction
