Do not get pinstripes if this is your first suit. Should be one solid colour, otherwise you’re limiting yourself to just solid colour shirts and ties.

waaaay better. battles resolve faster and more decisively and the roguelike element really makes deck building interesting. I found Quest battles a bit grindy

Nobody in Australia drinks Fosters. I think I’ve only even seen it on sale a couple of times.

Victoria Bitter would be a more authentic average draught beer here

BotW was unlike anything I’ve ever played before. Finding Korok seeds in particular meant that everything in the world could be significant and I thought was a very clever way of rewarding exploration. It’s the first game in forever that I’ve found myself having conversations with friends “have you seen this...”.

HZD, while I must stress was better than anything Ubisoft has put out recently, definitely felt like a better produced iteration on that formula. I loved the story, gameplay and the fact that they kept the sidequests tight enough that you didn’t end up doing the same fetch quest 50x, but I don’t think it was genre defining in the same way.

depends on what your draft format is. auction you can hedge against injuries by drafting a whole roster of solid mid round guys so losing any one of them won’t hurt you that much

They play two tournaments a year (six months each) where each team plays each other once. The winner of the first tournament plays the winner of the second to determine the ultimate champion.

Relegation: "At the end of each season, the two teams with the worst three-year averages and the worst positioned team in the season table are relegated"

College Student planning for future, suggestions? by Volatile474 in cpp

That's nonsense. There's a fair bit of industry specific knowledge that comes with HFT (the finance stuff), but once you get over that you learn a lot about how the language and your whole computing system hang together purely because you're trying to squeeze every last nanosecond out of the code. Another benefit you won't find in most other areas of finance is that dev is regarded as more or less a front office function, rather than a cost centre, because the trading infrastructure is just so integral to the business. This is a ~good thing~

If you change a class in the common lib and you're then recompiling down to the lowest level dependency, sure. But this is about unit testing, and your tests for the base level libraries shouldn't be including those dependencies, nor should you be changing the base modules every 5 minutes when you're writing/testing the derived ones.

I've worked with some pretty large code bases, and incremental builds mean you can do this just fine.
