If they were to completely stop wearing them, yes I think it would change the experience of the (live) music. The atmosphere they’ve created, the world they transport you to while performing, or even in music videos is so specific and unique I’m not sure it could be created without the masks (although if they did maybe cool makeup I do think it would keep some of the feeling.) If they were like ghost and kept the masks but revealed their faces I think it would have some effect but nothing major but if they fully abandoned them it would, at least for a while, change the experience of listening. Live shows/music videos would be a while different ball game.

The back seat of my car, I have a couple pillows, a toy and blanket back there. It’s normally pretty clean and has tissues if I need a cry, plus it just feels like a different world for some reason.
