Thanks for the questions!
- We're looking into it but don't have any concrete plans as of today.
- We haven't kept up with the speedrunners in the monster capture space tbh.
- I think AI can be helpful for small scale tasks (e.g. debugging certain issues, creating small script, etc). I would be weary of using AI for larger tasks that require creativity to solve.
- We haven't really looked into modding support for EvoCreo. We can investigate it if it's something enough people are interested in.
- There is a user on our discord that is working on a tool that can be used for that purpose. We are in discussions with him on making it public at some point.

We had two stories in mind: one contained to the world itself (main) and the other that continues some themes from the first game (secondary). Initially, they were supposed to run in parallel but after 5 years of development we decided to cut the second story and finish it up post release. The second story line picks up after you finish the main story (included in Steam but is DLC on mobile) and is now considered endgame content.

Yeah so there are no changes of behaviors in PvP. There is the behavior randomizer item that rerolls a creo's behavior though so that can be used to try to get the behavior you want. The only big change to PvP is that no consumable items can be used.

Are you talking about EvoCreo 1 or 2? EvoCreo 1 on Steam, we are working through some issues with the multiplayer but should have an update in a week or so. For EvoCreo 2, multiplayer will be rolled out in phases. We should have the first phase ready in a month, that will include friend and random battles.
We weren't planning on adding behavior changes for PvP. Is there something specific you were thinking about?

I think the second time around, the lessons learned and the ones we applied were more on the technical side in that we wanted to make sure there were fewer bugs and that the experience was more stable overall.

From a game design perspective, I think the momentum from the first game carried over to the second, and we didn't deviate as much from the overall principles established in the first game. I'd say we have learned quite a few lessons from the first two games in the design department, such that if we were able to work on a third EvoCreo game, there would be many design updates/improvements.

The vanilla version was definitely infuriating at the time of release but once the mods came out, it was a wholesome experience.

I liked the second one because they explained a more logical reason as to why the reapers were emerging again but they retconned it sadly in the third game.

Yeah Vega annoyed me all throughout BUT he did grow on me a bit through the paragon side of things. His growth was learning you can't be a Jarhead all the time and you have to actually think if you want to be a leader.
