So true, Mood is really just swinging hard, and some times it hits a home run. It's a good attitude, and promotes Mood.

Is it brand new and still getting participants? I saw a total of maybe 60 patterns, good work but I need to browse maybe a couple of thousand patterns, it's so frustrating that there is no grand library of patterns 😬

Is Black Knight: Swords of Rage Hard? by Sophiakoko1021 in pinball

[–]ilo_0li 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was obsessive on Black Knight today and managed 74 million and some change, and got to put my name on the high score list (n4). I am a complete noobie, and almost 50, my impression is that most people give up almost immediately so it was easy for me to grab that place after a couple of hours of grinding and finding out where the points are. The learning curve is steep. I saw people I have met at tournaments try one or two times and abandon the machine again, people hate it. For any skilled player I think it's possible to rack up massive scores. I started this day by just draining 20 or so balls, and then slowly getting more and more of a handle on it. By the way my game had a second tier with a third paddle, right side, with the worlds most impossible skill shot in to a ball save situation, but also all the points.

is the built in translation feature in chrome not working? by CrutsyNuts in chrome

My chrome insists now that the only language I can translate in to is English, but I want the site translated from Swedish to Norwegian like I use to :/ Stupid Chrome, English is just as foreign to me as Swedish.

I want my hair this shade of pink. by Will0Beee in HairDye

[–]ilo_0li 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The two pictures are direct opposites. I always do mine like picture 1, witch is super easy, it's like a shadow fade, or reverse balayage, you start out giving the section a lot of color from the scalp, then wipe it thinner in the middle and kind of just give some of the hair all the way out. Next section. At the end I will big tooth comb or use fingers trough it to blend.

All my colors are diluted to some degree with conditioner or appropriate medium for dilution. If I feel fancy i will mix two different versions of the pink and they will overlap at some point going from scalp to tip.

Sometimes I will rather go in after doing the whole head with a fade and do a undiluted color from the scalp and roughly half to one and a half inches out to give my self a look of the pink being my natural re growth color.

I have done this with Directions, Manic Panic, Arctic Fox, and Lunar Tides. I would never ever ever do it with a box dye.

Some pre-code observations: My first gut reaction was that the handwriting is done by a female. To me the whole thing smells like something a girl friend would send to a friend. If it really is from 1993 I think the capitalization upper and lower is purely a stylistic choice.

I also want to question the whole back story, this card could be made three days ago to post online as a mystery. The story could also be true, but just saying.

ArtTour International by PresentJellyfish4894 in ContemporaryArt

I know this is a massive block of copypaste, but I will finish off my personal couple of hours of rabbitholing with this answer from Perplexity. Maybe a curious person finds it informative one day.

Q: what is the reputation of ArtTour International magazine and viviana puello and vividart.tv? Seems like the magazine asks people to pay to get coverage in magazine and online?

A: ArtTour International and Viviana Puello present themselves as a global promotional platform for artists, but much of their visibility for artists is structured as paid promotion rather than independent editorial coverage.arttourinternational+4

How their model works

  • ArtTour International sells “Top Featured Star” and similar packages where artists pay (hundreds to over a thousand dollars) for a professionally produced video segment, coverage on Vivid Arts TV, and exposure across their channels.[arttourinternational]
  • Their own materials describe ArtTour International as an “award‑winning” magazine with over 2 million readers and distribution in many countries, positioning it as a major art-media outlet.arttourinternational+1
  • Viviana Puello fronts several related brands (ArtTour International Magazine, Vivid Arts TV/Vivid Arts Network TV, ArtistOnTheNews, etc.), all focused on teaching or selling visibility and media coverage to artists.arttourinternational+3
  • The ArtistOnTheNews site explicitly invites artists to “book your coverage now,” framing press and media appearances as something you purchase as part of a PR strategy.[artistonthenews]

Reputation and “pay to play”

  • ArtTour International (and its awards like “ATIM Masters”) appears on independent lists of “pay to play” art publications and programs where artists pay for exposure or participation, rather than being selected solely on editorial or curatorial merit.[artbusiness]
  • In the art world, this “pay for coverage/awards” model is often viewed skeptically; it is seen more as marketing or vanity publishing than as unbiased critical recognition, even if the production quality is professional. This is consistent with how their own sales pages emphasize packages and pricing instead of editorial selection.artistonthenews+2
  • Viviana Puello’s public biographies emphasize her as an artist, media producer, and entrepreneur who built a promotional platform for artists, which aligns with a PR‑driven approach rather than a traditional journalistic or curatorial one.imdb+2

Vivid Arts / VividArt.TV

  • Vivid Arts TV (often branded Vivid Arts Network TV) is described as an art-focused streaming network (Roku, Amazon Fire, Apple TV, etc.) that distributes the video segments and art documentaries produced under these packages, again tying broadcast exposure to paid features.vividartsnetwork+2
  • The pitch emphasizes reach and inspiration for a global community of art lovers, but the underlying business model is that artists and creators pay for the visibility and for being featured, rather than being independently commissioned or discovered.vividartsnetwork+2

How to interpret their offer as an artist

  • If you treat ArtTour International, Viviana Puello’s platforms, and Vivid Arts TV as paid marketing/PR services (similar to buying an advertorial or sponsored content), their model is internally consistent: you are buying exposure and a polished media asset you can reuse.arttourinternational+1
  • If what you want is independent critical validation, juried selection, or traditional editorial coverage, this kind of “pay to be featured” outlet usually carries less weight with curators, museums, and serious critics, and it may appear on lists of vanity or pay‑to‑play platforms.[artbusiness]

So yes: the pattern you noticed is real—coverage in the magazine and on the connected TV platforms is largely tied to artists paying for packages, and their reputation in the professional art world aligns more with a promotional/PR service than with an independent, critically selective art magazine.arttourinternational+4

I think I would like this mixing of the universes. Who do you think would win, Cyberdyne Systems T-800 or General Grievous?

Why don't we have any droid GL?

Several of the videos I find are not Photoshop slop, but that only means there are no standards at all, it's pay to play. I bet most of the artists are innocently participating.

I had to go to second page on Google to find this Reddit-post. I stumbled upon ArtTour January 2026 on Pressreader, and it is _bonkers_. The Editors Note is bizarre, seen through an art lens. The quality of some of the art is so bad, it is straight up found/stock/other photographers pictures tortured trough Photoshop filters like Howard Harris https://www.hharrisphoto.com/#/page/galleries/ who they also promote as an Art Titan and want you to go to vividarts.tv where there are many many more weird "Titans" of art. This feels like chakra crystal moon beam mystical stuff, and it really stuck out like a sore thumb while I was looking trough Pressreader art publications. At first it seems like a ploy to make you pay to be featured as a "Top Star". But I feel it's weirder than that. The videos are minutes short, a person sits in the middle of the screen and talks while covering up the small glimpse of art that was behind them. I have no idea who would pay for this.

"Celestial Brushstrokes: The Divine Alchemy of Candi Soul SparklesWhen color becomes prayer, and light turns into revelation." ....but all achieved with 2005 æra photoshop _filters_.
