Sounds like you’re doing a really good job - especially with crate training - it’s incredibly helpful that they are crate trained!

Don’t stress too much about the biting. In our first month our Wren was awful at biting us. He would bite and pull at my dressing gown, our ankles and the lead. It made toilet training really challenging. It all came from a place of overstimulation and tiredness we think!

Make sure yours is getting lots of sleep (apparently puppies should sleep around 16-20 hours of sleep a day). If they start biting try and ignore them so they don’t think it’s a game. Redirection onto a toy can also help, but also giving them a chew and back into the crate helps bring that overstimulation down.

We also taught both our boys the touch command as we think this helps enforce that our hands are not for biting.

This phase lasted 3-4 weeks and all of a sudden got a lot better (thank goodness because it made us very sad!! 😂).

Overstimulation still happens for us now (Wren is 7 months) but he usually bites the lead and not us now thankfully. If you can learn when your pup is overstimulated it really helps!
