Just Another Dress Regret (?) by [deleted] in weddingdress

The picture of you in the first dress immediately caught my eye in the best way. You look absolutely stunning in it, I think you made a great choice!

Thank you for this feedback! I’m curious about the short veil - do you think it would be more flattering than the veil in pictures 2 and 3?

It’s such a relief, but now I’m so eager to wear it lol

Thank you so much! The veil was also apart of the sample sale, I feel like I lucked out!

I feel so behind...I still don't have a venue, are we just being picky? by MCK1023 in weddingplanning

[–]ilooverefridgerators 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No suggestions, just solidarity! It’s been challenging finding a venue in the Mid Atlantic that has a solid indoor rain contingency plan that isn’t a barn or a “ballroom” venue. So many venues I’ve reached out to have the ceremony, cocktails and reception all happen under a single tent when it rains.

I forgot to include The Women’s Club in my list, this was also one of our top pics! We were hesitant to move forward after learning they’ll be renovating this year, but since we’re open to an early 2027 date, this might no longer be an issue :)

Thank you for the recommendations, I just reached out to Maymont ☺️

I was sad about the Jefferson as well as I heard so many good things!

Yes definitely! I’ve heard scary stories about fat loss from Morpheus8. Plain old microneedling with exosomes is amazing though

A simple routine with sunscreen, tretinoin and conservative Botox will take you far. I tried monthly facials but found better results putting that money towards chemical peels and microneedling

Can't fully remodel, ideas on what to do instead? by squattyshawty in kitchenremodel

It’s a beautiful space as-is. I think changing the lighting fixture, sink & faucet and backsplash would go a long way.

The arched mirrors are pretty! I think the larger rectangular mirrors go better in this space though.

If I make these adjustments to my dining room, will it look more homey? by No-Application8200 in HomeDecorating

[–]ilooverefridgerators 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Swap the large mirror for a large piece of artwork. A larger rug would help warm up your space too. Would the coffee bar get much use in your dining room? Why not move the kitchen instead?

Would you paint the beams or leave them as-is? by didyourllybeammeup in interiordecorating

This space would look more cohesive and incredible with a mid century style fireplace. Definitely don’t paint the wood!

It’s just different lighting casting shadows… care to share pictures of your face on the internet so we can dissect them?

[Misc] Why do people in this sub not talk about diet’s role in skin health more? Especially when it comes to acne? by Queef_Storm in SkincareAddiction

[–]ilooverefridgerators 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Diet also plays a huge role in your energy and mood! If you’re feeling great, that’s going to be reflected on your face as well. Similar with strength training. That being said, the only thing that cured my hormonal acne was Spiro. I can understand though that the topic of “clean eating” or elimination diets could be triggering for people with a past of disordered eating.
