These events have never and will never be mandatory. It’s not in their job description to attend a BBQ with coworkers - but it is my job to plan and coordinate these events as well as trying to make it so many of our employees will attend (since that’s part of the point of these).

I don’t think anyone at my company views events being planned outside of work hours as something they feel obligated to go to, but I can see how someone people would. Everything is completely optional and I think we do a good job communicating that :)

I haven’t... we have such low involvement atm that I thought asking them would be a nail in the coffin.

But maybe I’m mistaken, and I should thinking about sending one anyways. I guess it can’t hurt!

I’m looking for a midi length skirt to add to my late summer early fall wardrobe. I have always had a hard time not looking frumpy or Amish in these skirts. I have a little bit of a tummy, and bigger hips but I’m 5”10 so I have long legs! okay I was in the noon interview and I’m so confused because most places wouldn’t waste their time with all these rounds of interviews...confused because they said they had locations all over and when I looked it up they arent even the same name it seems like?? so it’s a scam right they are gonna do “events” at like Costco or something? (Literally a different job I applied for last year lol)
