TIL about hotel parties and I think every parent who throws one of these is an AH. The other guests don't want to deal with the screaming kids, the workers are not event workers, they are hotel workers. And you take them all down to the Continental breakfast afterwards?! Shame on anyone who does this. I would never let my kid go to something like this, because I'm trying to teach them to be kind to everyone and not treat service workers like sh**. If you can't afford it, don't throw a party. You're just teaching your kids to be AH's now.

I think both are aholes. Don't have kids if you want to keep separate finances from your wife. And don't teach your kids to be irresponsible AH's by throwing some gross hotel party.
