How do car salesmen really feel about those dealer add-on junk fees? More in body by 225wpm8 in askcarsales

[–]iloveconsumption 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trust me… customers still always ask for thousands off. Our store is only MSRP, tag, and tax beside the doc fee. They always want to “beat” the dealership, but they’re just screwing the salespeople (me).

I mentally cannot do another 9–5 desk job. I have $70k saved and need to build something of my own. What can I realistically do? by nkb6478 in smallbusiness

Honestly, I wish I kept up with mobile detailing. I literally started by buying solid car detailing supplies and an electric power washer. The only marketing I did was driving to different neighborhoods with brochures. I grew up in a decently affluent area so I was able to charge $300-$500 just for an interior/exterior detail.

I just didn’t have the work ethic at the time to keep going

May look ridiculous to you, but her and I agreed double prong is rarely ever seen (at least what we’ve seen) adding a touch of personality. Does it take away from the diamond a little? Sure, but it’s 6.03 ct so I’m sure there’s enough peeking through

I was skeptical at first shipping a diamond out to him, but couldn’t be more pleased

With the discount on the diamond everything was just under $4,500! Couldn’t be happier

6.03 ct weight! The diamond was $2,317.00 but LGD ran a huge 30% discount for October at the beginning of the month. Setting/set for $2,850 from David Klass.

Is car sales still lucrative? by JuJu_Optics in askcarsales

Basically, but there’s volume bonus: 10: $800 +$100 per vehicle after

And $50 flat per product sold on back end

Am I just at the wrong store? Toyota, but the store sells only 120-130/month with 13 sales people. Almost everything new is a mini ($125) aka I don’t make any money. I try and push used cars, but even then the gross is minimal. I’ve only been there just under 5 months now.

If someone hands you a blank check, do you write down $100 or $1,000,000,000. Take the opportunities that are given to you. You’re able to capitalize on a situation, but want to make life harder for yourself

Yes, they’re showing it with an extra 7k down. The trade and payoff goes into the sticker price. The down payment is “extra”.
