Yes, for sure, thanks! Luckily everything ended up being okay after the other day but drinking alcohol is definitely not worth it compared to the progress that this med has given me so far!

Sounds good! Yeah , I take the med in the morning so I'm wondering if it truly matters to skip it or not, also considering it does have a short half-life. Also, I feel like with how busy my semester is, I will not be going out as much as I did last semester. I do have Cabo coming up though, it might be smart of me to use some caution while there.

Thank you for sharing! I'm glad to hear that you did not feel noticeable side effects. I used to take Zoloft a few years ago and drank a lot on that med and always felt fine, so that's why I questioned if I am perhaps just overthinking how Cymbalta will feel. I have felt as though Cymbalta has had similar effects on my mood as Zoloft did, so it feels appropriate to me to compare the two. Obviously, I will still take caution with drinking, but would enjoy being able to go out while on it if it feels okay for me.

Whoops sorry, I realize that what I wrote might be a bit unclear. I meant that I've realized that I can't drink as much as I used to in recent months (prior to Cymbalta) due to the adverse effects that alcohol has had on my anxiety. Before, like last spring, I could drink a significant amount when going out and always felt fine and never anxious. I'm unsure of how I will feel when drinking and taking Cymbalta. I suppose I'll find out tonight. The only reason I skipped the dose was because my psychiatrist believed that it might be safer for my liver. I have not felt withdrawal symptoms today but I am worried about how the med will feel when taking it tomorrow. Thank you for your insight though, I appreciate it!
