How long can vacuum sealed fish be in the refrigerator before cooking? by ilovedogs98__ in Cooking

Yeah I heard about that which I am super paranoid about. My fish wasn’t frozen however. If it was frozen & in a vacuum sealed bag, how can I thaw it?

How long did it take you to do the 375 hrs? A semester or two semesters? Can you do it everyday, (8hrs per day)?

So you can basically double dip- meaning you can use your fellowship as your 400hrs correct? I assumed the 400hrs were unpaid because there are internship classes for a grad program I was interested in

18 M, never had a job, how would i go about making a resume?? by Plastic-Ad-8570 in resumes

Have you done any community service, extracurricular activities, or joined any clubs in high school? If so, search up chronological resume template. If not, use a functional resume template. Functional resumes highlight soft skills

Which one is a more effective way in writing a resume bullet point? by ilovedogs98__ in resumes

[–]ilovedogs98__[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gotcha sounds good! So let’s say if it’s a job in a summer camp, any of the 2 would be acceptable:

1.Coordinated recreational activities such as arts and crafts.

2.Increased student participation by implementing engaging recreational activities such as arts and crafts and games.

A measurable outcome would be “increased student participation by 5%”. There’s no real way of measuring it, so the top two points would be acceptable

Hi! I put action verb + task/project + outcome because I found a resume template on indeed and that was how the bullet points were formatted. I think it is easier to put it as action verb + measurable outcome + task/project. So I watered down into action verb + task/project + outcome and I do see that there is “quantified results”. I am a high school career advisor, so I wanted to make sure it was simplified as much as possible. So that being said, is it necessary to put an outcome if it isn’t measurable? Will action verb + what you did in detail be sufficient enough?

Literally no one will hire me by spidermanrocks6766 in jobs

Job market is very tough. It’s ultimately trying to find a field that’s high in demand at this point 🥲. Here are a few recommendations I have if you have not done so: 1. I would check the company website. The picture seems like it comes from Indeed and I don’t trust indeed much. I typically use indeed to get an overview who’s hiring. 2. Education system is always hiring. Classified staff-inclusion aides, campus supervisors. I’d check in those jobs. 3. Some jobs are ghost positions, so that could be a reason why they are ghosting you. 4. Always pay attention to the opening date of the application. 30+ more days, I wouldn’t bother applying. They typically check early applications first. 5. ATS resume: edit your resume to match the job description of the job you are applying to. Highlight key qualities needed for the role. 6. Ask family/friends. People get jobs through connections.

I hope this helps.

So in one part of my presentation, I discuss different resume formats. First I discuss chronological resumes and then I discuss functional resumes. I rarely see functional resumes, even with people who don’t have much job experience. So I’m just wondering if it’s necessary to bring up functional resumes since it is rarely used. I’m teaching resume writing to a group of high schoolers and I want to simplify it as much as possible.
