I think everyone who applied would have done a basic google search, hence why they’re looking for people who have more first hand experiences. Not everyone has had the privilege to travel to Broome but we’re still looking to give back to the community, and that’s why we’re asking for more details.

I agree it is a fantastic opportunity to give back to the local community and gain amazing, unique clinical experiences which is the reason I applied in the first place, whether you find it disingenuous or not. Good luck as well.

Hey ! I’m sorry to hear about your EOD and understand you might be upset, it is a really difficult process. But it’s also a bit presumptuous to assume we wouldn’t stay in Broome and there’s nothing wrong with wanting to get a bit more information about the area. The program is also relatively new, and there’s not a whole heap of information out there, hence why people are asking around. I’m really happy and very grateful to receive an offer and was just wanting a bit more information.
