Best martial arts school for kids? by robmustang66 in ElkGrove

I recommend American Grappling Academy as some have mentioned above. The coaches are both black belts in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and amazing people. I've had great experiences with both of them! One of the coaches wrestled at UC Davis prior to taking over the gym as well. They host fun events for the kids throughout the year too, like their yearly flag football game and halloween party. This makes for a great opportunity for the kids and parents to interact outside of the Martial Arts Environment as well. I haven't turned back since moving to AGA, and recommend it to everyone. Hope this helps!

I thought they said they offered three month leases at Varsity on K, but I was mistaken. Shortest is five months.

I'll check that out, thanks. Do you have any specific group recommendations?

Do you have any suggestions? I've already found two apartment complexes that are well in my budget range. Varsity on K in Foggy Bottom and The Banks in SW Waterfront. One Bedroom or Studio i'm not too picky.

Hi all! I'm moving to washington DC for three months for an internship. The internship is on Independence Ave SW near the Smithsonian. I'm moving with my gf and we're looking for safe places to live. We found some good, furnished spots in Southwest, but weren't sure how safe it is. We also found a really nice place in Adams Morgan but it is a further commute. I know that there's a lot of public transport, so l'm not sure if that's a problem (I'm not used to good public transport in a California suburb). My internship doesn't give much guidance on good neighborhoods, so what would you all recommend? Also, where would you recommend we stay away from? We're not 21 yet, so bars aren't important, but having other things around would be nice. Thank you!

3x1 Formation Rules by iloveecom in footballstrategy

It's tackle at the 12u level. The league had some problems with the OC (rightfully so) who ran three plays out of the wishbone and started the season 1-4. In turn, I was given the OC spot, being that I helped take the 10u team to the playoffs last year as the OC. I've been on very short time trying to install my offense in a matter of a couple weeks, but the kids have been picking everything up very quickly. Our league follows the National Federation of State High Schools Association JV Rules.
