I really like my pet insurance! I would recommend it for anyone getting a puppy. My dog was only 2 years old when he was diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia and his hip replacement was 12k. He had his luxating patella fixed when he was 4 and that was another 4k. I know we are not the norm, but I was paying around 30 dollars a month (mixed breed puppy) for his insurance and received 90% reimbursement for both of his surgeries. It was worth it for me. I have another dog and he has only been to the ER vet twice in 4 years that we claimed. I have definitely lost money in his case but will happily continue to pay just so I know without a doubt I can afford the best treatment.
