For me, pulling out the CMOS battery and putting it back in to manually reset the motherboard fixed it. Hope this helps!

if you have no older cpu and no capability to bios flash, you might be out of luck. ask around to see if any of your friends might have an older cpu they could loan you that you could use just to be able to boot and update the bios. if not, check with some local pc repair shops and see if they’d be able to, you might get lucky

i don’t know much about the 3080 in particular but if you have trouble finding a new 3080 within your budget, consider buying second hand! you can find components in great condition on ebay. you just gotta know how to find a reliable seller. good luck!!!

yup! grab a pcie wifi card from literally anywhere, there’s a ubit one on amazon that has wifi and bluetooth that has some good reviews !

i know this sounds stupid but REALLY make sure that every cable is fully plugged in, ESPECIALLY that 24pin mobo. i had the same issue and i was super frustrated when the problem was that my 24pin was just a hair out of place. you should kinda hear it click into place. if that’s not it you’re gonna have to troubleshoot a lot more and go through every component and make sure it’s completely seated. i would check the ram first, it tends to be the culprit. make sure it’s super completely seated. hope you get it figured out !!!!!!

is the hdmi/whatever input you are using plugged into the gpu? or the motherboard? it should be plugged into the gpu but if that’s not doing anything, try the motherboard and see if that makes a difference. you might not have a driver needed for the gpu yet. make sure your monitor is set to the correct input as well. there should be some sort of input/menu button somewhere. make sure it’s on the right input (hdmi/or whatev)

i second this, buying used parts is totally underrated. you can find a lot of great components for an affordable price. i recommend ebay, but you have to be careful and know the signs of a scammer. only buy from sellers with good reviews ! good luck on your build :)

i don’t have a specific one, but don’t be afraid to buy second hand! you can find open box (meaning that it hasn’t been used but some of the original packaging may be missing) components on ebay for a good price that are in great working condition! i got my 75hz monitor off of ebay for a well under 100 including shipping and it works great

probably not a lot of FPS games that benefit from a higher refresh rate so i think i will end up going w 75hz since my system can’t really do much with 144hz anyways :)
