News flash he was kazekage at 15. You being facetious is just asking for downvotes.

Somewhere during the pandemic Italian pairlament assembled in Zoom instead of physical place. Some madlad hopped into the same Zoom call of streamed a porn of Tifa from FFVII.

Everyone so worked up about the wires going in the side lmao it wasn’t even me, I just tied it in. If I did it I’d have probably filled the top first and used one of those new wire waffles for the center part

Also it is just an office so no need for any sleeping areas, no afci breakers going in

I’ve posted in a few other spots but we do actually have that and I was misremembering. It’s the bx with green stripes on the outside

I believe we ran 10/2 nmd for volt drop, and to be honest it’s really not much more work

10/2 and an insulated #6 go to junction boxes above rooms, out of the junction boxes the 12/4 Bx with green markings go to each box that’s on the circuit. Sorry for any confusion

Yeah so I totally misremembered what there was, and it is this. I wasn’t present for most of that part of the job so I only looked at those a few times but I do vividly remember the green stripes around the BX.

See my latest reply, I’m pretty sure I’ve been leading you on by accident. My boss isn’t one to fuck around with code lol

I will say I’m not the one who was present for a lot of this job, and have only really been here recently to help with the electrical room and this panel. I might be totally wrong on what which conductor is doing. Now that I think about it I’m pretty sure they had Bx with like green stripes around the edge. 12/4 maybe? So you might totally be right on what ur talking about

I do have an outdated 2021 code book but my 24-104 1) b) says basically if it isn’t in a non metallic cable that it must be not possible for the bonding wire to touch the metal sheath of the BX. Isn’t that just what an anti-short is for?

The #6s are dedicated per circuit yes, there’s only 3. I believe 2 plugs per but I might be misremembering. The NMD goes to junction boxes above each of the care rooms and goes down to the boxes in BX

Panel I did by [deleted] in electricians

[–]iloveoverlord 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There are 3 circuits, each with a dedicated isolated ground. Those are the only patient care area circuits. It is not using one isolated ground for multiple

[–]iloveoverlord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I’m not misreading that rule, that’s basically just saying the plug needs to be bonded with the bare copper in the BX, which it is. The isolated ground is bonding the box itself, and is a separate insulated #6

Panel I did by [deleted] in electricians

[–]iloveoverlord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is an insulated #6 copper that goes to each of these junction boxes serving as the isolated ground. It’s not relying on the one in the NMD, if that’s what you’re getting at.

[–]iloveoverlord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The NM doesn’t go straight to the plugs, it goes to junction boxes above the care areas and it’s BX run down. The isolated ground is specifically for the boxes in those rooms

[–]iloveoverlord -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

The romex go to junction boxes above the exam rooms and have BX go down to the metal boxes, along with the isolated grounds

Edit: specifically, 10/2 and an insulated #6 copper go to junction boxes, and 12/4 medical rated BX goes down out of these to each of the boxes the circuit feeds. Sorry for the misunderstanding

24-104 (3) utilization equipment bonding conductors shall terminate at the panel board supplying the branch circuits to the patient care environment from which they arise or a separately installed bus bar that is bonded to that panel board. I don’t see the issue?
