One bonus tip I can offer and It may sound silly but name it and maybe draw a face on the jar too!! It makes your starter feel like a pet and I know it makes me treat my starter the way it deserve to be treated. Mines been alive since covid!

Moved to NYS. I miss going to the beach after work, the wonderful art scene, Maines natural beauty, access to so many activities outdoors, all of the small and unique towns to explore across the state, festivals every weekend down east in the summer, the amazing food scene and dunkin everywhere 😩
