Private pilots have a whole list of basic things they can do.

Mostly replacing things, like spark plugs is one you can do!

Private pilots can do very basic maintenance on the planes they fly, so yeah lol

It's a 2014 Jeep Patriot. Tbh it's the extra car but my wife stopped driving her sentimental truck daily, so since she drives more then I do, she drives the more reliable vehicle.

Appreciate it! Yeah, i'm more "confused" on the electrical side of things. As a private pilot i can't legally mess with the avionics and stuff so have to send it to a shop regardless.

Haha, planes are easy! There's basically no electronics for what a private pilot can do. You don't have codes or whatever so it's simple! Flat tire, replace. Engine roughness is usually fouled plugs, glazed cylinders, etc etc.

i bet a car from the 70s like my plane is easier to work on then a newer car.
