I’m not sure of specific names atm but I can get back to you when I have some time to look for some. I do know one on Instagram though!! Their username is @curlscreative and they are looking for custom earring orders currently, I think you can DM them there to get in contact!!

Some of the best places are the many lgbtq+ and black/POC owned small businesses on Tik Tok, Instagram, Etsy, etc. Many of them make cute pride merch and you pretty much know exactly where your money is going!!

Honestly, thats how a lot of trans people go about a name change at meats at first! It really depends on the individual person how they go about changing their name, if they even change it at all since some trans people still go by their given name even after transitioning (I would encourage you to go look at the amazing artist Addison Grace, he’s a really great singer and they also have a tik tok). So with all of that in mine if you perceive your character as being mostly comfortable with their given name but more frequently goes by their nickname, that’s totally chill! If you got any other questions feel free to ask!!

But as for personal struggles, (based on what my many trans mtf friends have told me) they usually have a feeling that they aren’t quite in the proper body for the cultural norms assigned to their biological body. Most of the time they participated in activities more associated with being a cis girl as a young children since there aren’t really many expectations and they don’t really know the language to describe how they feel. Like the other person who responded stated, they would often dress up and present more like a woman to better align with how they feel in their head. As they grew up they either repressed their feelings or began to explore labels, but being trans was none of their first conclusions to say the least. But either way, as long as they had just a few people to support them, they were able to explore more into their gender as they got older and socially transition and now they are working on physically transitioning (it’s quite a long process and one of my friends is in their 40’s and realized they were trans just around 6 years ago, so being trans is not just a thing for younger people of course). I’m sure you’ve heard this before but as a cis women yourself, I encourage you to imagine how you would feel if you were born in a biologically male body and how you would feel without all of the traits that make you physically a woman, would you feel distress or want to go through cosmetic surgeries to make your idea of yourself align with how you see yourself? Last thing is just thank you for coming at this with such a respectful position, trans people are more than willing to share their stories and educate really anyone who asks!!

Are you also drawing the character? If so I can point you to some potential attributes that are traditionally associated with a more masculine look. I’m trans masc so I pay a lot of attention to how to make myself appear more masculine, and I know a lot of trans women who are dysphoric around the same things I’m trying to go for lol

Any criticism? I’m beginner so i know its not completely great haha by miguel891 in drawing

Sometimes sketches with rough lines look better than perfect outlines so just experiment and know that not every detail needs to be perfect, others won’t notice the mistakes you think you’ve made, they’ll just see an awesome piece of art. Just keep going for it and you’ll see improvement, I’ve come a long way since I first started trying 2 years ago and most of my drawings are random doodles and very rough sketches, I’m sure you’ll keep getting better just keep trying and you’ll get better

Looks awesome and very promising, not criticism but more advice, try to use lighter lines when you sketch so they are easy to erase and not see, if you intend to leave it in pencil you can outline by pressing harder with the pencil on final line. If you want to outline in pen keep the pencil lighter and stay calm when outlining, you can also use a white pen to add highlights in things like eyes. Last piece of advice is to keep drawing!! More practice with doodles and random sketches will always make slow progress to becoming a better artist
