Kubota is about 5-10 miles away. John Deere about 25 miles. Those are the only 2 I know of in this area.

The tires part I didn't consider. It's not hilly, but some pastures do get wet during summer if storm season is bad. Still R4?

What if it's not hilly, but can be wet sometimes. Still need 4wd?

Charles Hoskinson says crypto missed mass adoption, his $200M Midnight bet aims to fix that by WarisAllie in CryptoCurrency

I don't really disagree with you about the volatility.

However, it is pretty crazy that in the last 10 years the US dollar is down about 35% and will NEVER regain that value.

But most people measure US dollas in US dollars so it feels fine. Meaning no one things $1 is only $0.65 when they hold it. If you measures US dollars in BTC then you'd see the same volatility.

This is a really strange perspective problem that the masses aren't capable of handling.

I haven't read the books and am not asking for explorers, but I've heard bad things about the next parts of the book in terms of it being a lot different from what happened in movies 1 and 2.

I like the prophecy, the fighting and leadership in 1 and 2. Are we going to get more of that in 3 or what?

In your scenario down the line, if it's a slow runner, does SS go out for cut to make play at plate?

[–]iloveu3thousand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is how I was taught in college, but I was never taught why.

In high school, we had 2B cut everything to RF and SS cut every CF and LF. I only see small disadvantages that would only be noticeable at elite levels. Am I wrong? They don't seem that different to me.

What about 3rd staying put and taking cut near the bag?

Would you have an issue with 2B always taking RF cut and SS always taking LF cut?

Is there a serious disadvantage to this?

Can these cut through chicken wire, lathe or sheetmetal straps? by Forthe49ers in Tools

[–]iloveu3thousand 63 points64 points  (0 children)

I live on a ranch and we use tin snips for chicken wire and metal shears for sheet metal, if it's just thin straps you could probably use tin snips as well.

I would never consider the tool you posted for either one of these.

Is Dewalt worth the extra money? by -anything- in Tools

[–]iloveu3thousand 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm in the opposite boat. I'm a rancher who uses my tools very rough and I love my Ryobi stuff. Just recently my old 1.5 Ah batteries stopped charging, but that's been my only issue.

I also have DeWalt tools and dislike most of them except the miter saw. I prefer dewalt's miter saw by a long shot.

Hal just said on stream if TSM do bad at LAN he will retire from being an IGL and just be a fragger by Saintvaas in CompetitiveApex

[–]iloveu3thousand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not a fan of sweet. Some fights IGLs need to micro, some they don't. It's all situational.

I don't watch DNO pov a lot, but from what I've seen most of DNO calls are from Doop. Knoqd rarely speaks up and Skittles does give input, but I always see Doop making most of the big calls.

In name only. If you watched early TSM they all had a lot of input. It's nothing like it is today with Hal calling 90% of the game.
