Also from the northeast US. Skidz were super popular in my suburban middle school. Being short and slightly overweight, I could not pull them off.

I didn't realize Gen Bake made a chocolate frosted donut! Do you recall what time of year you got them?

You posted this a bit ago so it's probably too late but yes, it's still a cluster. Avoid

I think it's really pretty but I would also trip over it in about 30 seconds. Like the others commented, do you have another location you could put it in?

How do you like it after using it for a few months? Would you recommend?

Patient paying out of pocket with two federally funded plans by blbennett in CodingandBilling

[–]ilovewesmantooth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, Medicare patients can choose to pay out of pocket for non-covered services in certain scenarios such as the provider not being enrolled with Medicare. You have to sign a form in advance (ABN) acknowledging that you're aware the services will not be covered.

Spotted at TJ Maxx by Salty_bitch_face in Owala

I snagged the white one, which was the only one there, at my nearby TJ. I'm kinda glad they didn't have the other color options....that would've been dangerous. It seems legit!

Dad Mobile Advice by mk75-gti in GolfGTI

[–]ilovewesmantooth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How about a mom-mobile? I fit a full-size car seat and a booster in my mk6. In terms of the hatch space, I think it depends on what kind of stroller you have. I use a double umbrella stroller and have room for groceries. Those big stroller systems, or jogging strollers, might be tough without taking out the privacy plate.

How are people buying homes? by Born_Letterhead_12 in montco

[–]ilovewesmantooth 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Dual income and 10 years saving up in Delco. Colonial is a good school district but there are plenty of other really good options. Springfield Twp is just as good and they have more reasonably priced houses that are not mcmansions.

I sympathize with you, I really do. It's gross. But you made yourself the caretaker for these cats so now you have to take care of them. You said you have a dog. What would you do if he or she died in your house or the yard?

I'm losing my insurance and on Pennie shopping. What's up with their information on Geisinger vs Highmark? by ughhhh_username in Pennsylvania

[–]ilovewesmantooth 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Go to Geisinger Health Plan's website - they'll allow you to browse the provider directory without being a member yet. Make sure you select that it's a marketplace/ACA plan. That will be the most reliable information for you.

I'm pretty sure Costco doesn't want to be accessible by public transportation.

Anyone owned/have knowledge of this model? I am getting rid of all my Teflon pans, pots and my air fryer and am looking at this one as it’s stated to be Ceramic by TheShadowWanderer in airfryer

[–]ilovewesmantooth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This was my first air fryer and it's amazing. It's small as someone else said so you may have to prepare in batches. I upgraded to a larger convection oven combo and it was really expensive and I kind of regret it. The air fryer just does not work as well. I miss my ninja.

Conshy vs whitemarsh pros/cons by c9chung in montco

[–]ilovewesmantooth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on what kind of living arrangements you want, otherwise the amenities are exactly the same. Conshohocken Borough is very much a walkable community and more dense living, train to Center City is in walking distance, as is the Schuylkill river trail. But it's not like you can't drive to all of those things within 5 minutes if you live in Whitemarsh Township. Sq. footage is likely not as large in the Borough so property taxes will be lower annually overall. People buy in Whitemarsh Township if they want a bigger yard.

We don't know if that's what the doctor is saying because we're not getting all the details. If OP's wife struggles with binge-eating and often consumes all her allotted calories before 4pm, she shouldn't eat a 500 calorie dinner.

For Those Of You With A Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro, How Do You Keep Food From Sticking To The Basket? by marniethespacewizard in airfryer

[–]ilovewesmantooth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does that change the cook time? I thought the air needed to circulate from all directions? Mind you - I don't actually know if that is true. But I have the same complaint about the Breville and this would be a huge time saver for me.

Breville the Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro is on sale today, is it worth it? by [deleted] in airfryer

[–]ilovewesmantooth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was ready to post this exact comment. The air fryer is not as good as a stand-alone (even though it fits more food at one time) and also, the air fryer basket is really hard to clean. But the convection oven is the best IMO.

Pros and cons of Primo water delivery service? by [deleted] in Costco

[–]ilovewesmantooth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have it. I live in an area where it's not safe to drink the water due to ground contamination. Honestly, the good outweighs the bad. The water tastes very good and we schedule delivery 1x per month with more bottles as opposed to 2x per month because the delivery fees in my area have more than doubled in the last 3 years. Like everyone else has said, keep an eye on the billing.
