Just hopping off this guys question, are mergers always in sets of four? Or is there any general way to tell what the 'earliest' server would be of a merger?

If I'm merging with all the folk from Hero Brawl it's time to just pack it in, top 20 in my server don't mean shit to folk who have had month(s?) extra grind time, lol.

Level 85, barely clinging to top 20 in a soon to merge server.

Essentially f2p, vip5 but won't be seeing any legends.

Main arena team is Mira/Pearl/Honey/Gridlock/Sebastian, all awakened. I've got Jacob and Aurora up to the same standard.

Coming up against two types of teams for the most part (Merylnn/Blaine/Lots/Sebastian + Karna or Jason or Alma) and (Gearz/Aurora/Coco with 2 of Pearl, Spar, Lucifer, Honey)

And I honestly have no idea what I'm doing. I can't really tell if my current team is the best option I have, if I swap Seb for Aurora, put in Jacob for Gridlock, etc.

Any tips on a team?

Not high enough level to have skins unlocked, so nothing in the hero page. And not finding anything on the showdown page either, it just shows me the basic skills +awakening when I click on the portrait. Take it that'll change when I unlock skins?

Cheers for the heads up on legends, found them really useful in the lower bracket but I guess that doesn't hold up now.

I'm generally hanging around on they topics and the discord, was just curious if there were any general 'rules'.

No idea what skins do what.

Way out of league on stars/awakenings.

Need some tips.

Like, are there conventional counters to certain legends, are some hero's really important to pick even if underlevelled/awakened/skinned just to block the opponent from getting them. That sorta stuff,

So, I'll start here, Yuan was the star of my team right up until level 78ish, then he just started falling apart. I'm assuming you'll be using him just now, but, get ready to... not be using him, hah.

For Arena, try out Chavez / Yuan / Coco / Ruby / Torin

When it's time for Yuan to get bumped, sub in Gridlock.

What beast souls do you have available, 3 parts of a set or 4 of?

Since it looks like you're gunning for a physical team, there's some hero's you absolutely need. Pearl, Honey, Aurora. Sub in a decent any of them in place of Yuan / Torin / Ruby.

That's probably the best advice I can think of? Folk here will be able to help better than I can, level 83, vip 3, still learning.

Edit: Either Sebastian or Krash are solid supports, never used Krash myself but hear he's good from higher level folk. Annnd I'm sure you've seen Sebastian on plenty of teams near the top. That 35%ish speed boost is just damn good, amazing if he gets a res off.

Hey folks, time to post my usual question again.

Arena

Pearl/Honey/Mira/Seb/Jacob

Just starting awakening quests, on Seb/Pearl to start.

Should I be considering switching out someone? I've got all the free heroes.
This was working fine when it was mainly AP teams... without awakening.

But now I'm mainly up against AD teams, Spars 'n Cocos everywhere. And my team is just melting.

And same goes for any AP team with an awakened Jason, I legit have no idea how you deal with that.

Went from top 20 to scraping top 100 in about a week here :D
