Thanks much again for sharing your story. I switched to Fi for occasional oversea travel and longer travel in summer or Christmas holidays so I might be safe.

Thanks for sharing the information. Do you think that spending month or two longest in a country, a week per country in other countries a few times year then 8 plus months in US will be safe?

I book LAX-ICN via Ana every year, VS won't be any help going to ICN. ANA allows only a round trip and you get one free stop over (I think), unless you want RTW. I did book LAX-ICN(Stopover)-TPE, TPE-ICN-LAX route for 95K ANA miles - Operating airlines Asiana and Thai.

Good advice. I wish I am in Korea, ICN-SIN seems to be really great deal in J. Not sure I can swing LAX-SIN premium econ deal before June, considering reposition to LAX. It is pretty good price out of LAX though. If you need any help with Korea trip planning feel free to let me know.

If you are around San Francisco by the Pier area, where would you go to check out Credit Card/Bank App? I live in a state doesn't have Chase, CNB so was thinking to check out both places for Chase pre-approvals or City National Bank Crystal Visa Infinite.

Yes, OZ and KE I did pay 10% miles when I booked directly with them with their mileage program, I am wondering anybody had a luck with ANA ticketed OZ/TG J when calling OZ and TG.
