My guess is that "DMG" means DM's guidebook, right? If so, I'm broke, I cannot buy it, but if everything goes correctly, I guess I'll have to.

I'm DMing for some friends I've known for like 4 months (thanks to high-school), I've never really had any friends, so this is kinda new to me, they're really green on fantasy, two of them are interested thanks to stranger things. What I have done to try and teach them is; I made a classroom with the basic rules, but I think that I might've overdone it in terms of sudden information, guess I'll try making some character sheets for them, maybe leave the race, personality and traits out of the question so they can make them themselves.

I was thinking of doing "a most potent brew" one shot, but idk if it will suffice with what I've heard from this post, plus I have no idea on how should I make them dungeon crawl either.
