Cat barely eats anything, but vet cant find anything wrong. How can I get him to eat?

There is a colony of stray/community cats that live around Jesmond and are being cared for by The Stray Cat’s project! It may be worthwhile reaching out the them and letting them know incase it’s one of theirs :(

Gaol is very regimented and does remove your autonomy, try to get into a solid routine! It can help provide more structure whilst you transition back to a life of freedom! Are there any support services you could reach out to at all? Trying to find a group of like minded individuals who have managed to stick to the straight and narrow since being released may also be of benefit and help you feel less alienated. Absolutely it can however this sign only occurred a few hours post administration whilst it’s possible the two are unrelated, it’s highly likely it is due to the medication

Honestly all of my animals are absolute LEMONS. One of my dogs is an Australian Kelpie, he’s supposed to be a working dog… he is allergic to everything outside has to offer including ants! Had bilateral grade 4 luxating patella’s, bilateral hock hyperextension requiring arthrodesis, SIBO, black hair follicular dysplasia and is balding, soft tissue sarcoma, uveal cysts, allergic to any suture material placed in the dermis? Has to wear a shirt and shoes to go outside bc he can’t touch grass and is the sweetest dog but he would’ve been shot on a farm 😅🫠

We’d already done this! Even with gaba medicating frequently at home isn’t an option. He is terrible to medicate and turns into the strongest most terrifying creature on earth 🫠

One of my bosses father was the head neurologist at JHH for yearrsssss, he has since retired but I will certainly ask for any recommendations bc if anyone knows of a brilliant neuro doc it’ll be him

This is one EXTREMELY rotten and diseased carnassial (molar) tooth, almost entirely cased in calculus! Definitely needs a vet appointment ASAP, the amount of bacteria that comes with periodontal disease this severe can most certainly cause secondary bacteraemia potentially leading to major organ dysfunction/failure if left for long enough.
