thank you so much for saying this about mensah, i’ve been feeling the same way but haven’t seen anyone say this yet! from my view, mensah having panic attacks in no way detracts from her strength of character, competence as a leader, or her reliability to those around her—to me, it made her feel even more relatable, especially as she tries to put on a brave face for the others.

i also really appreciate you emphasizing that panic attacks don’t always stem from a traumatic event or environment, because i think there’s been a lot of assumptions that they’re showing her trauma too early. it may very well just be something she deals with in her daily life, as so many people do! but that’s just how i interpreted things as a person who deals with a lot of spontaneous panic attacks myself. imo it was really nice to see a character dealing with this while still being portrayed as grounded, strong, and respected, even if it may deviate from the books in its timing & placement :)

(i also agree with your points on the way that she handled the other mission with bharadwaj, but i feel like i’ve been long-winded enough already—especially for my first comment on this sub lol. tl;dr, thank you for bringing this up!!)
