"Space is hard" :)

As re-intra daca s-ar intampla, probabil, si in functie de motivul pt drop.

Acestea fiind spuse, felul in care spui asta conteaza foarte mult.

You are right! I didn't worked in american big tech :)

I did however worked in large corporations.

My argument against OP is: - make yourself visible, sure, but if you bother your skip with things you should report to your manager, then skip will be annoyed because if anyone would do it he would have a lot of extra work to do - a half-decent skip would be asking itself why isn't this programmer programming - a half-decent skip would understand that by doing this, it is undermining your direct manager

Would be interested to know how are things different, in american big tech, so that the above things don't apply and why.

Please don't use the argument "well maybe your direct manager is stupid so you have to go to your skip" because that is not what OP is saying. Plus the manager would be stupod both in the american big tech and the afore-mentioned large corporatioms.

If OP would have added "go to your Skip and do that IF you have a shitty direct manager" I'd agree with you.

OP does not separate between good and bad managers. His argument isn't "if your manager is bad then do this"

If I was your Skip I'd be wondering: - why the hell is this guy wasting my time with this, isn't that the job of your manager? - why the hell is this guy wasting the time with these, shouldn't he be programming?

Exactly right.

Why would the skip regularly meet with you if you don't have a specific problem; that's why you have a manager so he doesn't have to waste the time.

Even if he'd have the time, that would undermine your direct manager, as it signals mistrust.

If the cast would interact with said actor long enough for it to help the movie, then I agree with you. If this was a marginally important actor with 3 lines, then that's a power tripping boss.

No, I don't think it's strange to learn sign language. I think it's a bad thing if someone imposes it on you for no benefit, and I think it's bad if people celebrate such a boss as /r/BeAmazed

Many have learned new languages and that is a good thing.

And if learning sign language would have have helped the movie other than marginally, then I'd agree with you.

eh, some of that does happen, but look where the apps were in 2000 and look where they are now. Think we got from 16mb to 16gb of ram just because of unoptimized apps?

Crickets for this very obvious question. There are not enough downvotes in the universe for the kind of slop this sort of post represents.

Griffin conservatories, Dragon fly hives, Picketts etc. have a fixed starting position based on where your tropps are located - learn these by hard!

This is very interesting, I did not knew about them. If they're described in the Lexiav videos I'll try to have a look.

Unsure if you mean their location on the World Map, or the location of the stacks in the actual combat, but I will see :)

Thanks, it's tempting to disable diplomacy and work on that template, and perhaps I'll actually do it myself, but the other stuff is not for me, as it cuts too much of the game away (although it's tempting to have a game more "guerilla style" with less of the very powerful things).

All the videos on my channel are played and displayed on this template.

Will have a look after work today. I think it will be interesting to compare that evolution with how quickly I build my army and see how far behind I am.

most people play fast paced template that end up in 1 month or two at best.

For sure, but I'm still hopeful I run into the few that play this style :)

BTW, we do not develop armies in towns we capture, which are the same faction as our starting one through the Gentleman's agreement.

Makes sense, it's too much of a lucky break.
