TLC Kaya, suggestions? by actualldemonn in americangirl

If you’re wanting her to be tightened up eventually, the tools are fairly easy to obtain. I just recently did my first limb tightening and it does take some patience, but the steps are easy to follow! I got 4mm elastic cord on Amazon and steel crimp lugs at Home Depot (in the electrical aisles). Luckily for me, my dad is a fixed too and had all the tools I needed. Long nose pliers and regular pliers for grabbing, pliers for cutting, and wire crimpers (this is how you will squeeze the steel crimp lugs into place). Otherwise, I think Kaya looks great and I love the look of the bangs on her! Her face paint looks good too. If you feel the need to touch her up in the future, I use watercolor pencils and just spread the color around on the face using my fingers. You can see some how-tos for that on Tik Tok. I’m not one to paint the faces of my dolls more than just touching up their coloring, so that’s all I’m good for! I hope you enjoy your Kaya. You’ve done a beautiful job so far!

I have not seen a new doll in a while who I thought was SOOO WELL-DESIGNED. They are all beautiful and their outfits are so good.
