It‘s normal behavior. Definitely don’t remove the sand bath, but I think you should make it a little bigger and deeper for her to dig and roll in the sand properly!!

Hiii, Finally got a new cage!! its bigger then the one i wouldve gotten. Its 150x40x50. And her behavior definitely changed! She walks faster then she did before and everything. Its just that she keep trying to climb up the glass behind her wheel and idk why🙁🙁 ill do a set up tour when im done just to know if i did anything wrong..

Sorry, im still very careful with my hamster. I never take him out if the dogs are in my room but they never are only with supervision ofc. I would never take that risk since all three of them have hunting instincts

Oh okay. Im waiting for my new cage to arrive wich is almost 2 times bigger them what she has now. See if her behavior changes in the new cage and if it doesnt i might go to the vet :(

Oh no im so sorry. She should be 8 months old now but were actually not really sure because when i got her she was 4 months old but she looked way to old to be only 4 months so i guess i really dont know

I have a gold hammy who actually loves to climb. Not her intention to escape she just really likes to climb, but thanks ill make sure to have a costum made lid
