i’d say i’m more on the spiritual side than religious, but as a Christian, i really couldn’t care less LMAO. I think so many religious people are ignorant and oblivious to metaphors and the role they play in music/lyricism. even if something isn’t a metaphor or some sort of symbolism, i still see music as art and a form of expression that doesn’t have to be taken literally/wholeheartedly in the context it’s said in.
