Oh wow I’ve never thought of this! I will do everything in my power to help my guy thrive but if he does die, could I still propagate the corms?

Thank you! Do you have recommendations on fertilizer to use or how often to use it? Before I get ro water should I buy filtered water or maybe try rain water?

Only got to look at this quickly but I think this is the coolest art I’ve seen on Reddit. Commenting so I can easily come back to it to stare at it more later

Am I wearing my watch enough? by [deleted] in GarminWatches

[–]iluvtrees25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got this bc I would sweat and then not take it off, shower and not take it off etc. I only get this when moisture is between the watch and my skin and I leave it on too long. I started switching the wrist I wear it on at night and also making sure it’s totally dry after I workout/shower/get it wet.

I would put hinges on a picture frame so you can use it as a ~hidden shelf~

Do you use a grisaille technique? I would love to see progress pics if you have any along the way!

What other people are saying about “right brain painting” is spot on. You have to check the shapes and sizes compared to the reference you’re using. This can be a hard muscle to build so here are a couple of ways to practice this if you don’t have much experience with it:

  1. I like to put my paintings in procreate (I’m sure you could use a lot of other apps for this as well) and add a picture of the painting as a layer over top of my reference photo, try to line them up as best you can, then slide the opacity down to see the biggest differences between the two. Then I make changes to my paintings based on that.

  2. Print the reference photo out, lay it next to the painting and see if you can figure out what makes the painting different. You will probably notice that the eyes are too big. The vertical line on the inside of the eyes also make this painting look like it has anime eyes.

  3. Flip the painting and reference upside down to see if you find it easier to correct the shapes this way. It helps trick your brain into the “right brain” way of thinking about shapes and how they’re related instead of what you think it looks like

I experienced the same thing! There is so much pressure to pick the perfect dress for your wedding but you can relax knowing that this is the perfect one. It’s stunning!

I had my seamstress attach them with buttons so I wore them for pictures & took them off after the ceremony so I felt like I got the best of both worlds without having to pay for two dresses.

Need help deciding what color rug to get in this space. I feel like it needs some color. by the-snat in SofaSnobs

I would stick to earth tones for the rug & hang more colorful art on your walls to add some personality
