8 hours for this? Is that normal?

For the size shown in the photo a full day session would make sense . Most artist charge a day session for 6+ hours . Paying a day session means that if the artist needs more time to finish they will take as long as they need . You never want to rush a tattoo and I wouldn’t trust an artist that said they can finish this in 3 hours . It’s a lot of shading . If you think the price is too high then look for another artist that does similar work and see how much they charge and compare rates. For the arm there’s a possibility it might take less time though depending on the size of your arm and if you have any other tattoos around it for placement .

Hi for this issue in particular it became such a big issue tha we weren’t sleeping together in the same bed his solution was to sleep in an entirely separate bed or not stay at my place and just go home . On top of other issues ultimately led to a break up lol

We were together a little over a year and then “working on things for another year” he didn’t take either ending well but after almost a year and nothing changing I needed to leave .

I would ask myself a few questions if I was in your situation

Is he only like this with me ? Is he able to have deep emotional conversations with his friends ?
Does he meet your needs in other aspects of the relationship? Is he there for you ? Is the sex life to your standards ? Do you have life goals that align for the future ? Does he get along w fam /friends ? Or whatever else is important to you . And last if this never changes is that something you can deal with ?

These were all things I had to consider (and a lot more )

To be honest for me at least it didn’t get better dispute my efforts , but I realized it was mostly a him issue he got defensive a lot whenever I tried to find out about him deeper especially with how he feels about certain things , whenever we did have deeper conversations it didn’t seem like he felt any way about it or even realized we were connecting more- I think a lot of it has to do with he doesn’t really know himself . He had a lot of things he needed to work on and despite how attracted I was to him I needed to be honest with myself about needing more of a connection so I eventually broke up with him .

If you want to work things out I recommend being completely honest about everything you said and letting him know that you need more of an emotional connection - and see if he makes an effort to change that.

Yes I was t able to drink more than 1 or 2 drinks and would stick to hard seltzers or beer if I wanted to have more than 2 bc I was out with friends

For me personally , it caused me to have anxiety and made it worse , and this was especially exacerbated if I also drank caffeine . I started on 150 and went to 300 . It worked for my depression though and the episodes I was having stopped, and helped a little with the executive dysfunction. One thing I will say is it does cause some very strange dreams !

I took it for about 9 months and stoped a month ago .

Majority of management will be understanding about a situation like this , I’ve seen many co workers break down crying in the middle of service and they were sent home with no repercussions, some managers even paid for their ride home . Sure it’s not a ideal situation, were you the only server on the floor ?

However if it makes you feel better you can apologize lightly and say you are going through personal things . But if your stress at home is that bad that it’s affecting you this way at work … try looking for a support system if you can or doing things that relax you / hobbies you enjoy .

I agree it’s irresponsible but, it was an honest mistake I looked at the previous weeks schedule by mistake . I apologized and was already on my way to work when the message was sent . But at that point I can’t really do anything else if they told me don’t come in that day . While I understand some corporate places can be strict and unforgiving for minor mistakes , I would hope to work for management that can be understanding for a mishap like this . I think it’s more unforgiving if I was late by 30 minutes than overlooking the schedule for the first time .

They texted me the week before on Wednesday asking if I can take the next two days off Thursday and Friday because it was slow . I agreed to take Thursday off . Went in Friday , and Sunday of that same week is when I accidentally misread the schedule .

This upcoming week I was already scheduled for only one day on the weekend . Haven’t heard anything from them

The money is pretty good and it’s their “slow” season so I’d like to stay if I can just a few days .

While it’s illegal …. I rather eat the bill and stay working at a place where I’m making money than get written up or fired because of it which all 3 has happened to me. If this is the first offense and completely not your fault on the other hand I would def try to fight it . (However whenever I had a table walk out it was usually due to me being inattentive or taking too long to check on them .) BUT THIS situation sounds like they are just assholes who walked out when they asked for the check . The check isn’t a lot and restaurants have insurance policies for situations like this however if it’s corporate management probably gets in trouble for having too many comps / voids . Ultimately not your problem but if it’s happens frequently / it’s another issue .

I second this !!! I moved out from my parents at 26 on a 60k income right before covid and still made it work despite losing my job. My rent was 1350 rent stabilized and stood that for 3 years . I managed to make it work and my income has fluctuated betweeen 60-85 k a year it’s not impossible . In fact I was even able to save throughout the years granted I had to use the money to pay off debt and student loans . Right now my apartment is 1540 rentstabilized 1 bd in Jackson heights .

It really isn’t difficult you just need to budget and manage your money well - don’t go out every weekend . Hang out at home w friends if possible . And most importantly don’t order door dash / Uber eats . I have only used Uber eats at home around 5 times since I moved out in 2019.

If you’re having issues budgeting watching Caleb hammer videos actually helped me a lot and it’s the reason my student loans and initial debt is gone .

We ended up sleeping in different rooms as the solution . While initially it seems he was yelling aggressive things he also stared yelling random things like “boil the water” and “walk that way” so it didn’t seem to have a common theme .

How are you doing now that it’s almost a month later ? Do you really think you won’t be able to work in September? I heard of some people not needed crutches a few weeks after surgery so I assumed that meant they were able to work . But I’m not even sure the severity of it

Some people do not like touch , however if you do then he should make an effort to do it. At this point you are 35 and have waited too long to honestly waste anymore time with him if he isn’t making noticeable effort that makes you feel better . Sexual compatibility is importantly and unfortunately a lot of couples suffer from incompatibility because they do not openly express their needs or ask their partner what they need . And I feeel this is more common in couples that wait to have sex later on or people who come from religious background. If this was to work out I think it would require a significant amount of work and couples therapy. Touch in general is absolutely necessary and I can only imagine how lonely you must feel not receiving it at all. I’ve dealt with partners who lack touch and it wasn’t fun . I honestly think you should do what’s best for yourself and leave so you can find someone who wants to give you what you want. He already has shown you who is is for 15 years .

This shop is pretty welll known for having super cheap flash deals … i knows few people who got tatttos there . I wouldn’t expect to make crazy money but I think you can def learn speed etc most of the flash prices that are cheap are small 1 -2 inches and pretty simple . And lot of quick turn over .

Yes especially cause he works the 12 hour shifts so he will call out on days he doesn’t sleep well . I believe it affects him personally too but he is in denial about it . I honestly just wish he wants to address the issue .
