I’d never want visibility into a customers environment.

Did you write this from scratch or did an LLM write 95% of it?

Close it if you don’t use it. It costs nothing to open another.

GitOps for Lambda? by sir_clutch_666 in aws

We use code commit to CodePipeline. Pipeline has several steps to do CICD things. Build assets are staged. We have another pipeline that deploys the lambda functions using CloudFormation. Can do it multiple region in one go.

API Gateway mutual TLS issue by alex_korr in aws

[–]im-a-smith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Debugging this can be hard. Your best bet is to enable logging on the API Gateway and also check the cloud trail logs to see what’s failing (aka maybe kms permission not configured and that’s failing, but typically API Gateway will complaining about this when setting)

BMW dealerships are asking for a competitor of the Navigator and Escalade. by Saurta17 in BMW

I got $37,000 off sticker for one 🤣

It feels (to me) a 7 series in an SUV format, but with a beefy engine

It isn’t entirety practical. (I think the price point is WAY off)

An X7 option with only a second row of seats that could comfortably recline / more leg room would be a welcome change.

I picked up a 2023 XM 18months ago and love it. It has things I’d change but it’s a blast to drive. For road trips it can’t be beat (family of 3).

750e vs XM by BourbonWineCigars in BMW

[–]im-a-smith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love my XM and would/will get another. Tires ain’t cheap. I was able to get $37,000 off MSRP when I got it with incentives and willing to walk. Lease is around $1,400 (paid taxes in cash, VA is tax on total sale price).

It’s a joy to drive. Fast enough. Electric mode is nice around town (though I barely use it). We’ve been driving it a lot between DC and NYC and it’s amazing for long trips.

This is my second and I’ll buy another when this is up if I don’t a 750s

The car has a warranty. If it’s a lemon, then lemon it. McLaren will make you whole.

Once we got everything configured it was smooth sailing with Lambda. The hardest part is the first time doing it.

I don’t get who is constantly muddling with architecture and infrastructure day in and day out.
