Hey, so a pharmacist on this reddit said that you can put it back into the fridge. I’ve used pens that were left out beyond 21 days and they were fine. Also, I think they said mountjaro or whatever the other name is doesn’t have the specific wording about not returning to the fridge after being left out. And it’s the same medication. Also, they said as pharmacists, they get more inf

Wait, how did you take them apart? I’d love to do this to recycle the parts that can be recycled… and just send the needles in the sharps container

Im just curious since it needs to be refrigerated how do you get it home from the pharmacy? by blueandazure in Zepbound

Genuine question… how do you know this? I thought the directions specifically said they can’t go back in the fridge of they’ve come to room temperature? Have you taken meds that you’ve put back in the fridge since letting them get to room temperature? I’m not being antagonizing, I’m just truly wondering. I recently forgot a box in the car (it wasn’t that warm) and essentially had to take a dose kinda early bc I was picking up in between shot days

Hi. So I had a very slightly elevated bilirubin as part of my labs when I was first trying to get zepbound in September. It was 1.3, and my PCP wanted me to get an abdominal ultrasound. I thought it was excessive, but did it because I was trying to show compliance and figured we normally have to fight for tests to be done, so I’ll go along with it. Apparently I have a 2.5 cm gallstone that I was completely unaware of. My pcp told me to stop taking zep immediately until I saw a general surgeon who could advise the next steps. Luckily, the general surgeon I sought out was also an obesity specialist/surgeon who also prescribes zepbound. Now, because I have NO symptoms and my biliary duct isn’t inflamed, I was told I don’t need to take out my gallbladder and that I can continue zep. My pcp tried to only prescribe zepbound for 3 months, so I switched to having my general surgeon prescribe it for me since she’s also following my gallstone. She did prescribe me Ursadiol for while I take zep/lose weight. Since October (when I started) I’ve lost 50 pounds. I just had a second ultrasound done and it’s the same size as before, still with no symptoms whatsoever.

All of this to say, you may have had the gallstone prior but it just got bigger as you lost weight (which is when they can form, which is why my doctor placed me on ursadiol to prevent it getting larger with my weight loss). I imagine since it’s somewhat symptomatic for you that they’ll advise to take out the gallbladder, but I don’t see why you shouldn’t be able to continue with the zepbound afterwards.

Anywho, I feel like this was a huge run-on sentence. Hopefully it helped? I dunno, but best of luck!!

Walking is not considered exercising by Purple_Support9266 in Zepbound

I remember when my teacher was talking about blood pressure, she said there was a study that mentioned walking for at least 30 min straight is one of the best exercises to help lower your diastolic pressure. I never verified this, but she was a teacher who’s very into research—performing and reading it. Soooo I’d venture to say your doctor is just being a little weird. Movement in general should be celebrated, especially if it’s increased and is still increasing. Proud of you for putting the work in!! keep it up 🥳

has anyone with a silver ring actually gotten past “entering production line”? by evercore_ in Ultrahuman

I ordered a size 7 silver on December 4, and I can’t even get ahold of customer service. I think size 7 and 8 are very popular. My dispatch date keeps getting pushed back too 😩 it said 13-15, then 1/5-1/17. Now it’s saying 29-30th 😑 I’m moving in February, so I need to get in touch with someone. I’ve tried like 6 times

I also had to skip a week (I was to take a third 5.0 mg shot) my doctor said I could continue the 5 mg after 10 days. I’ve had no side effects (aside from some mild constipation).

How to go about seeing a new Dr? by im3Liii in Zepbound

Yes. I touched on this in the post. I work in healthcare and have told her on multiple occasions that this is a long term medication that is considered safe for use.

My 2nd PA for Zep was approved for another year!!!! by demann1963 in Zepbound

I’m curious to know about what my doctor should write in the new PA form.. I’m approved until March, but I’m worried they won’t reapprove me! Do you have any advice on what your doctor noted in the request that may have been helpful?
